I just remembered the newest version of MBAACC comes out in time for this event. Think if there's enough of interest it could happen as a side game? I need a reason to make another trip out to Chicago. :3

I would like to attend this. I enjoy playing guilty gear. Somebody should tell people that Japanese Faust player "elevenshadow" will be there.

Yea man, I hope to see you there again. This tournament is the perfect opportunity for all of those people who always say how they miss playing GG. I hope everyone acts on those words.

Can you red rover Juicy G over?

Also, Can there be a Vampire Savior tournament? Related to that, does Nickel City have Vampire, or a cab someone can put Vampire into? I know people have supergun setups that will also work in a pinch.

Last time we had a PS2 with the JP Vampire Savior running. Game plays exactly the same with 4 extra characters. Expect to see it again this year.

There is a lot of talk on the SRK thread about having some games be $20 entry fee but payout would go to the top 8 winners. Its looking like most people want this for SSFIVAE and UMvC3.

I was wondering what the Guilty Gear community thinks? Would having a $20 entry fee but with top 8 payout give you more or less incentive to enter GG? Please post your thoughts on this.

Amar from Nickel City is throwing an extra 100 dollars in the prize pot for SSFIV, Marvel, and GG. Thats 100 for each game separately. I'm thinking that this extra 100 will all just go to 1st place for each game.

In addition, I am going to throw in an additional 100 for first place in GG. So thats an extra 200 dollars for 1st place GG on top of the regular prize money from entry fees.

Tickets are cheap, definitely considering it.

Is there a shuttle to the hotel from the airport?

to be honest, im not sure. I checked the website (I updated the link on the first post cuz it was busted), but I didnt see anything mentioned. You could try giving them a call and ask. Its a bit difficult for me to call them from Japan. If not, the airport might offer some sort of special shuttle service for cheap.

I am for 20 dollars for GG. Can't let bad games get the most money.

Until I can find the perfect deal for a round-trip flight, I can't say I can go just yet..
