When I see Tager, I just j.A and sing trolololol EDIT: Seriously, though, I think he handles Tager fine so long as he has the doll, and getting the doll out isn't much trouble. I /do/ think you end up opting to reset to neutral a lot more against Tager than other charas, though.

I've watched Relius's dominate Tager completely one round then the Relius gets blown up the next round. It goes back and forth with those two characters. So by the time you get that hit confirm you don't have enough Ignis meter to finish the job with good damage. Have to dismiss her early and lose your pressure. Give him a primer breaker that isn't tied to Ignis, and lower the doll costs overall for active/inactive and he'll be more balanced to handle his bad match ups. The Haku match up of his that's horrible I honestly don't know how they will fix in later versions without making Relius too strong for his other match ups. He's a C+ imo. Losing pressure chance from time to time to get your full potential rolling sounds a lot like Tsubaki. I'm sure you guys will figure something out.

Relius isn't scary but he isn't bad. I honestly think he's even too. It's no way that match can be in Tager's favor. It can only get worse.

And gauge recovery is super fast. Relius have nice defensive options and pretty good zoning. about Ragna, he have always tons of heat(except few seconds at round beginning)>he can do safe dp, cs through projectiles or turn random poke into corner carry combo with damage.

There really isn't any advantage he has over Carl, he's a straight downgrade.

That and you have to adjust your combos and end them with a crappy combo finisher that pretty much forces you to give up any sort of momentum you had going. That's if you don't want your blow up doll to blow up. If you get hit or grabbed, the doll goes away and you have to either spend her meter to summon her or leave yourself wide open to summon her or call her back. Ignis might be faster but she's a lot more frail in her own way. If she dies then Relius's combo, mix-up, and pressure potential goes down the toilet. In the other hand, Carl can still hold his own a bit, better than his father can at least.

My matches playing him have been getting nothing but harder as people figured out his poor mixups and how his tools work. I don't think his bad match-ups can get any worse. I think some of his 5.5+ match-ups will become more even. He's not going to fall greatly down as he can still dish out huge amounts of damage, good meter gain, and pretty much every combo of his can corner carry easily.
