I lost all interest in Halo at 3. Last time I seriously even cared about it was 2. I lament the fact that it's become one of the main driving reasons the 360 has such a retarded playerbase.

It's also sad seeing a decent game series get George Lucas'd.

Resurrecting a series simply because it was successful and churning out useless sequels/titles for the sake of cashing on a name rather than anything innovative.

It's unfortunate to see that Mass Effect is now headed in the same direction.

The entire console gaming industry is now plagued by nothing but shitty sequel after shitty sequel because no one wants to try a new IP this late in this console generation's lifespan.

im not exactly sure how to reply to this halo wise but mass effect wise im not seeing it, What we witnessed during the mass efect games was the story of commander Sheperd (shepard? i forget) and his quest on stopping the reapers which is in itself a tiny part of a greater universe soo theres still room to grow and allow us to witness other events that are outside of shepards experiences via more games or novels or whatever the heck they pick as the best way to allows to experience that event like for example the first contact war between humans and turians we hear of it in game but we dont know exactly how it went down they can make a prequel about it if they wished to showing us the major battles that took place from the POV of different soldiers or something like that.

what im trying to say (and i hopefully succeded) is its not useless if it makes sense to do

Halo 4 is visually pleasing and the gameplay is 'fun' in the sense that you can use BFG's but it's like every other shooter in that all they are is just a big pretty set piece.

The FPS genre was ruined by Goldeneye. There hasn't been a relative addition to the genre since the N64 era and things have stayed largely the same. Plus shooters with radar are fucking dumb.

They pander to kids with their artificial difficulty and easy to pick up controls which is probably why you don't see too many passionate gamers play them.

Yeah ggs to you too as well as goldy, freezama, haven, scrimgore and everyone else i played.

Even though i fought leonil who plays ragna i got my wish and fought other people besides ragna and hazama ^_^ i even fought a valk, and they are a rare breed.
