Oh geez, I am not feeling Netplay ATM. It has brought out a monster in me that almost made me quit BlazBlue this week altogether. But I took a break for a day and now I'm OK lol. As far as bringing consoles goes, I will always tell you that there's no such thing as 'enough' setups at any offline event. If you have one and it's not a major pain to bring it, we'll find a spot for it.

I know they're worried about you playing games with a bunch of guys but damn! I guess I can see their standpoint on that, but still I doubt that you'll have to worry about that being an issue at Nickel City.

Netplay lately has just been really bad to me. My reasons for disliking it are "lag" related. Lately when I play, the game looks fine, but it does not play fine. It just seems like inputs are absorbed into the ether and never materialize. It causes dropped combos, as well as failed attempts at reversing momentum(via failed pokes/counter assaults). It is really hard to explain but if you do not experience it then I am glad for you. I have only played netplay since CT and never had any issues resembling the ones I mention. It is heart-breaking. It makes the game very un-fun to play. I am hoping playing offline cures my blues next weekend. Or I will have to find something else to kill time on for a while.~ Edited March 26, 2012 by Arcknight

Tager cannot Sledge a burst but he can obviously just command grab through green/gold instead. /sigh For the record: I do not hardly ever use green bursts. Only Gold. If I can't gold burst I'll usually just take the loss.~ I have lost THAT much faith in the bursting system. Edit: Not looking for any feedback or arguments from this. It was just an anecdote. If you weren't looking for feedback shouldn't have posted a video. I'll also refrain from calling you out on basic fundamental understanding of the burst system and how invincibility frames work, oh wait. I just did. I also lol'd at the Tager comment about him getting a free ride. Lets play every iteration of BB, you play Tager. Then tell me that I was completely free because Tager is stupid. Just in case you didn't know, I'm still loyal and grumpy about my character, though I used to be pretty bad, don't fuck with Tager. I don't hate people, I just dislike ignorance. If you're going to play a game, learn it. Don't just play.

I live in Addison, and I found out about AreaXIII too late (from what I understand it's done now). My only issue personally is transportation. I'm stuck with netplay for that reason...

I'm just trying to get back into Blazblue and now that I'm set up in Chicago I'm hoping to find some other local gamers to play/train/hang with. If any if you guys are on PSN I could definately use a sparring partner. I player CT a ton back in the day but had to take over a year and a half off due to some life changes.
