The most expensive part of PC gaming is the steam deals, they'll empty your wallet!

I return!

I've spent just under a week with my gaming PC that I built from scratch. And I have to say, for all you guys that recommended a gaming PC, I cannot thank you enough. I spent £750 on this PC, and whilst it decimated my booze money for the rest of the year, It's stronger than both the PS4 and XboxDone, and Steam is the best shit I've ever used. Got the Witcher 2, Skyrim, Team Fortress 2, Planetside 2, Battlefield 3 and Rome Total war all for less than £40.

Fanboying but w/e

(I don't have an Nvidia Titan so I know my PC is shit tier, but I have 32GB of RAM so that makes up for it tbh)

Neat! No go buy the STALKER collection on steam :kitty:

Thinking of selling the Xbox and buying a PS3 for the Last of us and Imported CP (lol). Where can I get a dead cheap model? I'm not arsed about HDD space. I literally only want it for a few games. XBL just ain't worth paying for anymore since I don't Xbox anymore.

I picked up a £150 12 gig from Very.com

Well, my dad because he's a member but I'm paying him for it~ But I got the 12gb cause I know I can just get a cradle and put my old PS3 HDD into that one, so you may have to look elsewhere. My 80gb was about 200 iirc, which isnt bad as it came with games.

Game doing pre owned, £95 for 160 GB and £100 for 320gb slims

trust me you need the HDD space, so many mandatory installs on ps3, i've come across 5gb, im guessing some are more

The last of us is fucking amazing however, so visceral

Boom Microsoft sacking off DRM, win

I do believe someone made a bet with me on here about this.

Me? I thought Sony were going to something equivalent to DRM, maybe at software level as opposed to hardware but it turns out neither company are doing it.

This is obviously mostly positive, but tbh I am probably one of few people who are ready for my games console to become like steam or my iTunes account. The restrictions wouldn't really effect me and I like convenience, though my first reaction was, 500gb hard drive? What fucking good is that, give me 2tb

That's a lot of donkey porn for your console, mate. Might want to cut back on the ass.

Anyone thats interested in Welcome to the NHK; it starts off pretty darn good, but then gets bad. Like ruins the whole show bad. Suicide ends up as the main topic and the ending sucks.

I thought it was fantastic, only bit i never liked was the pyramid scheme arc.

The fact people are flocking back to the XB1 after the removal of DRM is shocking, that's set THE WORST possible precedent in gaming history for a console.

Isn't that good reinforcement.

> use DRM

> everybody bails

> take off DRM

> HERO OF JUSTICE

Not really, maybe people are quite happy to pay £80 more for something they're expecting have for 5+ years with controller they find more comfortable and a better online service.

I will be buying both, but ill most certainly be playing multiplatform games on xb1

The gaming market is so gullible it's untrue. Maybe I'm too invested in my favorite hobby? I don't know. But how can you support a company that wanted you to check in every 24hrs as if you're a criminal or something. Gtfo with that shit.

And Xbox One? 5 Years? Still paying to play online? Still remortgaging the house for on disk, day-1 DLC? waaat

Xbox One STILL has to have Kinect connected and facing you at ALL TIMES, and this is from a company that has been known to sell peoples information to government organisations for money and also it wasn't going to be like Steam as Steam has games at very good reduced prices and you can actually play games offline, hence why anyone who was getting an Xbone might aswell have gone onto PC.

But honestly I'm sick of arguing about why Xbone is the worst thing ever since it never ends.

Jeez so much paranoia in here, you guys must let me know where your getting your weed from, cause it seems strong. Kinect spying on you? And what exactly is it they're going to do with 100,000 bits of data that says snivelling virgin played a game for 10 hours today.

Apple have my credit card details, so do Sony, so do PayPal and so do Microsoft. If someone wanted to defraud me they could and they don't need kinect 2.0 to do so.

Afro you say you are so invested in your favourite hobby, yet how games do you actually buy as opposed to rent from lovefilm? Contributing nothing in the process, I am guilty of this too as are a lot of people. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, of course it's a great way to discover new games you may have otherwise not. But this behaviours drives things like DLC and tacked on multiplayer and I really don't think you can be surprised given that games have remained the same price for about 15 years now (getting cheaper relatively because of inflation)

Mortgaging my house to pay for xbl? Yer that £40 per year really breaks the bank, but at least you can still do online multiplayer without paying on ps4.....nawwww

Plus these people on the Internet who believe Sony is your mate and 'all about gamers' and Microsoft are the enemy are deluded, it's all about the cash at the end of the day and I'm willing give it up to anyone offering me a great gaming experience
