Her_Omen Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 THAT IS WHERE I... -cough- Pardon the caps locks, but for the longest time I couldn't place Thunder's character and then this pokemon talk hit me in the head. It's the ghost user of the Unova Elite Four, neh? I feel so slow. Anyhoo, I can't think of anything insightful to add besides man are all these days away from playing making me rusty. I went on to play story a little and I just ended up staring at the screen helplessly. And when I went onto Challenge mode with Mu, it was like my brain forgot how to play entirely. I can't wait to have the PS3 back upstairs for me to play more often. On another note: I start my job today, or at least the probationary part of my job today.

A lot of Mu players (Me included) Forget that Mu is quick as hell, Keep on the move. It's so hard to tell someone how to play Mu...You can play her anyway you want really. If you can barrier in a corner, that helps a lot, but otherwise it's a lot of just evading your opponent and using your moves wisely to create space. It's not cool to really charge in with her either... I do it, but I normally do it behind lasers and arrows to get them to block before I dash in with a low B and set up from there...Granted that doesn't work on everyone~

But rushing down naked isn't always a bad idea. I do it against characters like Hazama and Valkenhayn. The Risk is huge but the reward is even bigger. If you're good at blocking it's no problem. DP through shitty strings and keep them honest with it, Don't let them go for bullshit strings EVER. You get distance and the time to knock out a Stein or whatever else. Going in with lasers is always safer but it's not always available really.

I normally do it after making space after a knock down (on their part) or a roll back (on my part) or anything that just generally lets me create room to have that time to do things that normally are not safe up close. Because I wouldn't honestly 236D without room between myself and my opponent, or when I don't really need to and Arrows can do just a good of a job of scaring them. Otherwise it's a wonderful defense tactic when I can remember to do it. Not the scaring them, but the 236D. I just need to play more, and with a bigger pool of people. I hope to do that the moment I get my TV back, and when I visit the boyfriend in Maryland as well since he has a very nice set up and internet that's way better than mine. I hope to even get to check out Xanadu and the Xanbat's on wednesdays. Edited February 29, 2012 by Her_Omen

I'm just starting work up again, so I don't know what my finances will look like since I neglected to ask about when it starts paying and how much per article or hour or whatever. Otherwise I'd be right there with ya Ly. I remember holiday season when I first got into the army when all the big titles I wanted were coming out. It was a brutal assault on my pocket book; total one hit k.o. Poor thing. At least it recovered. @Cookie: I already had a sexy moment against a hakumen, eventhough it was more like a lawl moment involving steins and a distortion. I have the reply saved, so I'll probably record it and put it on my tube when I get the chance. Not sure how great my camera or phone will record my TV screen tho.
