I thought it was the most hilarious shit ever, although it was rather depressing at the same time.

I've forgotten completely how to apply pressure and mix-ups with her and will probably start with that and combos.

Stein formations, okizeme setups etc. Her steins come out a lot faster now in CSX than in CS1. Getting used to 3C being techable lol. But yeah, start with combos. They're pretty different than they were in CS1, but way more fun IMO.

This is where you finish a combo in a position that is advantageous to yourself as the opponent is on the ground / getting up. for example, some incredibly basic Mu Oki is simply 236D after a knockdown, You have free reign to put yourself at the advantage the very second they get up. Mu has some disgusting Oki that can lead to crazy damage, punish all rolls, not rolling, meaty, everything.

Yeah for some reason Oki/Okizeme as a term just isn't sticking in my head so I keep forgetting it... I never understood all the applications and uses of 214D and 236D. I knew 236D could make for an interesting defense, and 214D after setting a steins can toss in some extra damage especially if you have it placed where there corpse body is flying.

I started messing with her again yesterday to see what changed and almost all of her challenge mode stuff was mad fun. I noticed the oki thread doesn't have anything and I didn't see any vids in the video thread explaining oki, just matches. Any good tutorial videos?

I started messing with her again yesterday to see what changed and almost all of her challenge mode stuff was mad fun. I noticed the oki thread doesn't have anything and I didn't see any vids in the video thread explaining oki, just matches. Any good tutorial videos? None for CSX at the moment. (That I know of at least.) For now you can stick with basic stuff. dash 2B catches forward rolls and crosses up on neutral tech, 214D in the corner. If you end in the corner and have a j.[D] set up you can poke them a few times then when they block the charged laser it gives you time to throw out a 236D to keep them stuck blocking even longer. Midscreen basic things like ...5D > 6D > 236D or ...5D > j.2C > SoD > 6D > 236D etc. I can't seem to do this Habacan (?) cancel with Mu on pad. I've been seeing Japanese Mus do it and can't seem to move my Mu in time to do it. Habacan is short for habakiri cancel so no need to call it habacan cancel. Anyways it's a tough link to do when you're first learning it. Cancel into habakiri whiff asap and dash 66A the second her hand starts to go down after "detonating." I can't say that'll actually work, because I don't use visual timing for this. I just sorta feel where I'm supposed to dash now, so I don't know if thats accurate, just as guess lol. I made this real basic one so far : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Vbb-RTnyUw Probably going to make more of these next week since it's my spring break :D Midscreen setup i use the most with 6C is ...5c 6c 5d SoD dash 6d 214d. If I can't 6C I'll usually ...SoD 5d 236a (then 6d 236d if they're still at a safe range).
