Dont_Explain Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) his extra air movements can make it a pain in the ass sometimes. unless you have a huge aa that hits behind you or something, l can agree with that... Fuck his air movement. He gets a uppercut to the face too. But seriously, he can use D nails, extra air movements, and change air trajectory a bit with A/B nails. advancedNoob Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Why would you not AA Bang? Because u have to read him to aa . Otherwise his normals will get u, + he has like a billion of air jumps to bait u out.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Worse than a Hakumen who you can literally stand still against and 6D->D spam combo to death with Lambda? Probably. You should see how hard he mashes D. He even thinks it's a good oki to press D on someone's wake up. What a dumbass. lol
zeth07 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Because u have to read him to aa . Otherwise his normals will get u, + he has like a billion of air jumps to bait u out. Pretty sure that's how it works for every character.

What a dumbass. lol Someone do wakeup overhead on this guy. @Zeth: I put the stuff I think makes it harder to AA Bang in my other post at the top. Edited April 30, 2012 by Dont_Explain
Zeron_X25 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Someone do wakeup overhead on this guy. He hopped and gold bursted me in the corner but I did BK and then killed him with DbD. Does that count?
Dont_Explain Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 He hopped and gold bursted me in the corner but I did BK and then killed him with DbD. Does that count? Is it a overhead?
Zeron_X25 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Is it a overhead? Probably. I haven't seen anyone block it so far.
advancedNoob Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Pretty sure that's how it works for every character. From my personal experience, no. 9 out of 10 times I lose to his air.
Dont_Explain Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Probably. I haven't seen anyone block it so far. I see what you did there, but it doesn't work with an unblockable move lol.
toanenadiz Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Pretty sure that's how it works for every character. You wouldn't understand since your character doesn't have a proper AA and every AA attempt for you is a challenge.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Here you go DE. Just for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQXJWsci7KI
mAc Chaos Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Pretty sure that's how it works for every character. With characters who have a 6A you just go "Oh he's jumping at me" and 6A him and it'll take them out. With characters like Bang and Tao you never know when they're actually going to commit to an attack since they can bail out once you go for the 6A.
Dont_Explain Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Here you go DE. Just for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQXJWsci7KI Thanks Zeron. Now my brain is official fucked. And now online is derping for me.....I think PSN is really dying. I could login, but the list of rooms would load kinda slow and it took a minute to get to the network menu.
Koopa_Klawz Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Here you go DE. Just for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQXJWsci7KI That was... very depressing to watch.
XDest Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Probably cause of console swap. Not with you, with the other two. There's input lag, they're probably WC.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Remind me to never try trolling a Hakumen that mashes D more than Noel :/

Lol I more or less meant that it SHOULD be because you're reading them in all cases. But yes people do just throw out their anti-airs like it's nothing, must be nice.

But yes people do just throw out their anti-airs like it's nothing, must be nice. Now that I'm playing Litchi, a legit anti-air is probably one of the only things I miss

Well, once someone has used up all of their air options, there isn't much reading you need to do if you have a proper AA. It is just that characters like Bang and Tao have more air options to use to get to you so they usually have something else they can do when they are near you.
gli Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 But yes Bangs do just throw out nails like it's nothing, must be nice. The view from the other side :P Anyone up for some games? The only way I can get into random rooms now is to use an alt so I don't get kicked / room disbands early or whatever.
Zeron_X25 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Now that I'm playing Litchi, a legit anti-air is probably one of the only things I miss Mash 2A like LK does and it works as anti air 90% of the time.
