She does same of dven more damage, her normals are hakumen grade and her pressure is pure craziness, ragna is half the character she is. You are obviously trolling here... you probably not playing the match-up right. Platinum having crazy pressure, LOL! Not bad but not even either, probably slightly in his favor. I'm more likely to make a mistake and lose 4K with those normals than Ragna is lol. Hakumen grade normals? I wish, the only normals worth mentioning are 5A and 2B, maybe j.C. Her pressure is not even that crazy, she can try to be Arakune all she wants with j.2C but it's not gonna happen lol. You're thinking CSII, 5A was +1 on block, her shit was actually crazy in those days lol. All of this here is truth and I don't play Platinum but I fight her enough to know this is accurate. Ragna has plenty of tools to make Plat DAI easily, he can stop her aerial approach much easier than most others in the game and midscreen, Platinum has to take stupid risks like: Heart Car (hoping it hits) > RC > run in > stuff in the Ragna Match-up. Thats just something I can add on to what Moy is telling you. I guess it makes sense if you don't want to go through character select as much and you use the same character over and over again but I much rather prefer the 2 round format. It's got a different flow to how the rounds go about and you have to think differently about how you use your bursts as well. I could make a joke from this but I'll cut you some slack this time. I guess you're right about the throw, but I think after a teched throw/air throw Lambda is at a good position too right? Don't know. I don't tech throws. When other people tech my throws, I usually just guess a D or run away. What I want to know is how he gets past the endless barrage of swords. I can win if I get you in the corner, but 99% of the time I die without ever touching you. He made me fear throwing out swords. Don't know how he did it though. If I did, I probably wouldn't have been afraid to use them.

I also met Lambda's that throws out swords on reaction and forced me to inch my way in for 70 seconds only to win narrowly because I landed 1 BnB and blocked everything else.

It's all the same in the end. And it was more the fact that once I got caught, I was dead because you punished my backdash almost everytime I tried it after GF, which made me try other ways which I failed at. So that just made me more nervous when zoning you since I equated a failed sword as death. It probably wouldn't work as well now since I just care less. The issue is really when Lambda reacts to Tager's movement with a sword. The match up shows its true colors at that point and Tager has to work really hard and pray off the Lambda's habits to survive. Which is sometimes not enough.

She can use missiles and I guess bombs to help with that. All she really is worried about is ID (Big surprise). Get him into the corner and make him guess whether or not to DP with bubble oki.
