Shenanigans I tell you, shenanigans

I just laughed when it happened because I instantly remembered his profile text.

People: If you really insist on using a mic:

1. Don't let me hear the game on your side. This drives me nuts. When I'm streaming this means I hear sound FOUR times.

2. Don't say anything. I can't hear you anyways.

3. You know what? Just don't use the mic.

Last night I kinda got fed up with hearing someone's game and just unplugged my mic from the stream, plugged it into the PS3, hung it on my speakers, then kicked the guy after he said some sort of stuff that I didn't hear or understand yet again.

I felt kinda mean, but I put up with enough, I think.

Did you use the no mic symbol when you made your room?

I think I'll start to, but I feel bad because it's something I'd rather let people have but not screw it up...

yoo Axis, you need to play me for old time's sake.

meeemorries

Ok I'll try, my life is just full of perpetual chaos atm so I haven't been able to do shit for 2 weeks.

Not even go to school!

Fuck that, most of the time those people just have the mic plugged in for shits and giggles and rarely even talk. When they do, they say some shit I can't make out or just start cursing. I could understand having a mic to talk friendly shit with your friends but when it's random people it gets on my nerves.

People I generally play don't wear mic's.

I guess people seeing the name "AXIS" are just people who like playing my scumbag ass.

I sometimes wonder if I really am that popular...

Does anyone want to play some games? I'm not very good but I have around an hour or so to kill before I have to start my day. I'm from the Midwest but get a decent connection.

EDIT: Never mind, might be a little too early for everyone else on a Wednesday.

I dont think theres anything wrong with mics with proper courtesy. My mic also doubles as my headset for when i play at night so that it doesnt disturb anyone else. In saying that, my headset is wired so that's why it always shows the mic icon even if its turned off. I do unplug my mic completely if i enter a stream, and i only turn on the actual mic for voicechat if its someone I know or if they also have a mic. Mic play is full of lulz though with certain people hahah

What is with you Psn players and your hatred for mics? Like, sure sometimes I like to keep my mic off when I really want to focus on the fight, but most of the time I'm just playing for fun and adding conversation is always more fun. Why so anti-social psn?

netplay is srs bsns (no really, it is XD)

if you ever join the chat(s) you'll notice alot of the guys are fully concentrating on the games, asking their questions and getting input after each match/set. l know that for me it's alot easier to type my thoughts than to speak them, so i'd much prefer a chat over a mic: that could be a contributing factor to others as well. whatever the case, the main two reasons people seem to hate mics are because some mics cause lag, and some people don't know how to handle themselves over a mic... so to speak.

On PSN I hate mics.

On XBL I can belch into my mic and get Nemesis to flip out.

It's all about the target audience.

Everyone on XBL used mics all the time. You use it with pretty much every game so it's practically part of playing online. Not so much lately though since nobody is on as much.

I'm sure you've played any number of games on XBL within the last 6 years, I'm sure you can understand why some people don't like dealing with mics. Not to say there aren't people like that on PSN, but the less of it the better imo.

Now if it is someone you know or someone you're friends with, it makes sense.

How do you make friends if you won't talk! lol Well, its probably because I play on xbox I feel this way... I just wish more of you would talk on psn because xbox is dead. QQ
