Star-Demon don't- give up!!! I believe in you. They made them faster, so you can't. The only one you can counter successfully with is 2D, but I forget if that's green or gold burst.

You're going for the kill, you read the burst and counter, etc. There's still old fashioned burst baiting though. As for wake up gold bursts, if they're going to counter it, that means they probably saw it coming. If they see it coming, they don't have to use a counter. They can do j.2C and avoid the burst, then hit you on the way down while you're helpless. That's something that I don't pull off often though.

That's something that I don't pull off often though. even so those are for reads, sometimes i barely react in time so 6d and 5D really help in those situation when yu know they gold burst but they dont o it predictably you have to anticipate it, as soon as i see the gold my brain auto 5Ds. i just wsh i could do it to overheads more often.
