Starlight777 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 lol, that thing is so damn slow. Here I am blocking a barrage of those things but then the throw... can't tech the throw unless I completely read it lol. Here's something funny. During that long set of matches I attempted my first ever unblockable without any sort of practice merely because I was getting bored fighting your defensive Jin.
TD Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Just think "Hmm...that health bar looks a bit full. Let me change that with an overhead." you keep coming up with the most gdlk shit to say. l wonder if this will fit as a sig LOL ggs to everyone today. was a little tired earlier but l got enough rest and was able to play and think clearly. despite that though i'm preeeety sure l picked up a bad habit or two that only extensive training will fix. *sigh* poison is ingested so easily, yet so difficult to reverse...
Zeron_X25 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Nor quarter circles. But it's not that bad tbh. Not as bad as playing SF4 on xbox. I'll get used to it.

I figured as much, I was like "where the hell did that come from?" lol. After that set, I found out that all I have to do is jump out when I see something fishy about to go down. I wonder if I could push buttons on reaction and not get hit by the saw blade.
mAc Chaos Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Nor quarter circles. But it's not that bad tbh. Not as bad as playing SF4 on xbox. I'll get used to it. Fuck. I can't find CS2. I think I left it back at my house. I'm going back this weekend though, so I can check then.
Mucky Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Nor quarter circles. But it's not that bad tbh. Not as bad as playing SF4 on xbox. I'll get used to it. You can do half circles to compensate for quarter circles. DP motions... nothing you can do for that.
Sayayakiba Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 If you guys don't mind playing with a Ragna, invite me please. Ranked is boring!
Jyosua Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Here's something funny. During that long set of matches I attempted my first ever unblockable without any sort of practice merely because I was getting bored fighting your defensive Jin. That's actually exactly what causes me to start doing things I know about but don't ever put into practice. It takes everything not working for me to try something new. I figured as much, I was like "where the hell did that come from?" lol. After that set, I found out that all I have to do is jump out when I see something fishy about to go down. I wonder if I could push buttons on reaction and not get hit by the saw blade. Probably not, but if the unblockable isn't exactly timed right you can block the low for the first hit, and then stand up for the rest of the moves and block the high.

Yeah since it was no longer about winning, it became more about making you a guinea pig. I started thinking "What's 236D for anyway?"
Sayayakiba Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 ooooooo boy i got u bro Actually, Im a girl, but whatever, thanks for the invite

I was like "Mmm, I'll block high, then immediately low. No? Well I'll block low and then immediately high this time. You know what? Fuck all that, I'm just going to jump out... SUCCESS".
Zeron_X25 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Actually, Im a girl, but whatever, thanks for the invite You can be a bro and also be a girl. What's the problem here?
Starlight777 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Funny thing is I play this game at home with a troll I know and I tried going for UBs and he smacked me out of it most of the time. That and my timing was off when I attempted it. I'm now under the impression Relius unblockables are for when your opponent has gotten conditioned to just sitting their blocking everything you throw.
Rhiya Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Realtalk, don't do Relius unblockables. The timing is distance dependent, you're never gonna land that shit consistently even with practice. They're more like hard-to-blockables, but they can scare the piss out of people who don't know how to deal with them

It's now my last resort OS lol.
Rhiya Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Relius mixup is all about that airdash mixup that should be your go-to if your frametraps aren't scaring them any

Well I rarely ever push buttons unless I know it's going to work (after IB'ing that Ignis-teleport-behind-you-thing lololol) and that's why you were able to set it up. While I don't like pushing buttons at random, I will jump out when I see the chance lol. DT has the right idea though, you're better off trying empty jumps to open people up.
TD Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 UB isnt bad you just need enough conditioning and it'll work. there are plenty of ways to get said conditioning with relius if you play your cards right

Yeah jumping out is how I deal with it too, because fuck taking chances with that shit.
