But but, the winner of BBR called BB a kusoge. ;_;

I blame Arakune, Noel, Hazama and Carl. :I

Mu can play dumb and autopilot. I thought even Mu players knew that lol.

But almost nobody plays her so it's not much of a surprise that nobody knew.

I dont know Mu, so I cant go to training mode and record stuff I want to punish. Not much else I can do except watch matches and try to absorb stuff.

But that's the thing, you don't have to learn a whole character to set up their oki and try to find a way around it or set up their tech trap. I didn't like getting shitting on by arakune mix up, so i learned how to triangle dash and which moves were jump cancelable and made a 20 second mix up modular. and it might not be like a real arakune's mix up. but i learn that when you barrier you don't jump when you go up to block over heads and that alone help me deal with arakune mix up and blocking in general. I mean everything their doing is somewhere on this site... written down and explained. It's time we started using the site like the way the GG players use it. when you want a match up, go into their thread. you don't have to "yomi" the match up. or hunt down and interigate a main of the character and get mad when they don't tell you everything you wanted to hear. (seriously guys, stop chat boxing me to tell you how to block.) everything they know is written down here. and when they're aware of what you know as what they know. you can build on option to counter act what's already there. that's how match ups develop.

I used to be driven to get deep into every aspect of the game.

But then pretty much everybody I played with offline and online stopped playing, and all the effort I put into the game felt like a huge waste of time. It's kind of a vicious cycle.

So I can't really blame people who don't put that much time into the game. If anything it seems like the smarter thing to do. :P Why would you waste your time on a dead end when you could be doing better things. At least they get what they want out of the game, then go on to do other things with the extra time.

Still, it was worth it for the good times it had before. Nothing lasts forever.

CT was a lot of fun wasn't it. every day in the board putting up new stuff and watching match vids while everyone keep trying to top the next person who used the same character. I kinda miss those days. i wish i wasn't bad back then so i could of played people like Jiyunna and RyanBillWhut with clear head.

Holy shit did Leonil just win the fucking thread?

Fucking tournament wins placement man.

Makes you smarter, your dick harder, your shit talk stronger.

Cannot beat that.

I still can't netplay, fuck my dads desire to live stream everything!

Can someone confirm / deny that if Arakune gets you cursed in the corner and your character has like < 4 Primers he can pretty much take away all your primers + all your barrier and force you into Danger mode into something you can't block anyway? I saw that shit happen to Star-Demon and I'm pretty sure it's happened to me as well when I've fought Biscuits.

Star was blocking pretty much everything while in the corner, and when he got to 1 primer was barrier'ing everything he could and eventually it ran out, put him in danger and he got hit and it looked like he was gonna die but I saw that happen and said fuck this and left the room before it finished, lol.

I thought Arakune could always do that (since Cs2 anyway).

Regarding Moo, I feel she was actually a lot more autopilot in CS2. 2C was really mashable, 214D had the dumbest proration (you got hit by bomb? see you next round bro), and SoD broke a primer regardless of charge for like 5+ GP break blockstrings with meter. Mu still has some retarded stuff now, but I also think that a lot of people are just unfamiliar with how to deal with her/the matchup.

Those that is true.

You have to do some risky shit to not die by Arakune.

He also has a unblockable setup that can only be beaten by DP/1F reversals.

If you mash you die, if you block you die, If you play the match up on a CRT you die.

2C is still mashable isn't it? What changed about it in CSE?

Also don't forget the sankishin backdash ;_;

Less head invul frames and slightly more startup and recovery. It will get beaten by proper jump ins and is more easily punished on whiff. You have to really commit to using it pre-emptively or be properly spaced to use it now (aka their air attack wasn't even spaced right). Also no longer jump cancellable on block so you can't just fish for 2C CH and IAD away if they block (man that move was so good). Real talk if people tried to do jump/IAD mixups in CS2 I would just [1]C them out of their air attack and half the time it would work...but now I'm like "fuck well I GUESS I'll be good and block your air attack. Just this once." It helps that a lot of char's jump ins got buffed in this game too though.

Mu's backdash is pretty godlike but if they use it too much on your midscreen pressure just dash after them or use a really meaty attack.

edit: actually recovery/startup are the same

GGs 50-50, xntrikcat, nineball, anyone else I forgot. mirrors are fun, learn new stuff :)

I agree with zeromus there, Mu is kinda dumb because you can get away with dumb stuff, just not as intuitive to learn how to deal with her. For example her 2c has only 11-16 head invuln so when you do it you have to commit way ahead, and the recovery is terrible, so bait it out with a double jump and get a punish on a crouching character. Her other anti air, 6a, has a pretty small hitbox so there's a blind spot where it's risky to anti with mu.

Mu can do it too. (not the best example, but I mean the potential is there, I'm still improving it :))

In place of those scrubs why don't you play me?

Though I may leave in a bit. lol

confirm.

2C, j.C, Dive, D Bug

Outdated info.

J.c does not remove a primer anymore.

The rest is all true. Arakune can opt for guard crushing, but it comes at the prices of using up precious curse gauge (time). Less curse gauge = less damage.

As far as damage goes, guard crushing is optimal after a burst.

And God help you if you Counter Assaulted somewhere in there.

Damage Christmas.

Oh right no longer jump cancellable on block. I totally forgot about that. That shit made me cry when I played Tager against her.

Honestly after playing Lambda I don't feel like her or Mu's backdash is amazing.

Then I look at Tao's backdash which looks almost as stupid and Litchi's command backdash which is just a "wtf why she has that?" move.

Her backdash is good though.

Posted
She has a command backdash?

yea, she has a backdash follow up that covers twice as much ground as her already good back dash, that is air dash cancelable which is retarded because she can fast fall out of airdash. -_- So i swear to god if i hear some say "man, ragna has to much" after not standing up from the same 2A > 6B overhead gattling, i swear to christ i'm going to fucking smack someone. :I

Couldn't be helped, I had gentlemanly things to do.

Besides one does not simply level up on PSN's netplay, just becomes more tolerant.

GGs to the people I played today.

Shoutouts to xSOnatax for hatemailing twice after every queue dodge on Ranked. I appreciate the consistency.
