Like with Rachel, all you need to know is that you don't have to worry about anything faster than a 29 frame overhead, instead of getting auto-fucked like most chars. Well she can delay it a bit (altough it's rather easy to block, esp since ppl are used to it by now) and then go for the fuzzy guard (50/50). But the instant overhead being gone itself hurts her mixup. However in the next game you can go for two lightning fast coin flips in a row on the whole cast, that's some scary shit.

Errol Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 There's no such thing as "down+backing too much" or "down+back being a habit". You can't react to most lows like you can with most overheads, so the logical thing to do would be to always hold down+back while on the defensive and try to react to overheads. Up+backing all the time would be a bad habit, just blocking low the majority of the time is not. Yes there is Moy. You down-back through 95% of tsubaki's 6as and that is TOO MUCH.

Then you stopped playing Tsubaki and played an equally shitty character (Makoto) and I decided to just DP your OHs. With Makoto, I know it's coming after a jab or a 5C > C, can't really tell with Tsubaki with all the charge cancel shenanigans. Hell, I don't even know what gatlings into her 6A aside from her jabs.
