Errol Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 now try doing it with tager I don't think that will be harder. all you gotta do is random out a 720 and a 360 and you're done with a round. Sure, tsubaki can get in hits easier and the matchup is overall easier... but it's probably harder to take single matches because you have to guess right so many times... yeah...

Errol Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 it's the same as you mac. the randomness in your play makes both of you easy to take matches off. even if you have good rates playing against people like toan or moy or soul ookami, those guys don't drop many games against me because they don't play that way and play to reduce randomness. that's just the straight truth and there's no salt there.

Errol Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 well, I don't think there's much more to say. you play randomly so it's easy to take games even if you win overall. others play in a way that you really have to know what you're doing in order to take a win because they don't just randomly give opportunities. Also why you see some characters much more prone to having those 90% win rates, like Litchi, than others. Even though matchup charts range from 4.5 to 5.5. A difference in playstyle, and influenced by the char you play too.

Errol Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 matchup chart theory is always based on evenly matched players, right. and all matchups wind up in this 4.5-5.5 range. but outside of that is the fact that if you lag behind in some matchups, your win rate goes down 10%, and if you lag behind in other match ups, your win rate goes down to 10%. it probably affects you in the reverse way star-demon. you're not quite good enough so your win rate is lower than it should be given your level. then you got characters like noel where your win rate can be higher than it should be given your skill, given the strength of the lol randomness. Some players, some characters, much more liable to random wins, some much more liable to random losses, we all know this. we all know taokaka is has favorable matchups against the entire cast, but she's very subject to randomness, so it's going to be a lot harder to not lose with her than with other characters despite that, right. then there's also characters that win off the strength of stupid randomness, like noel.
