bizarro Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Well it seems like they've removed the files so that's not really an option anymore In any case, after I enter the password and go to their download page, I'm pretty much stuck (no obvious download buttons/links, everything in japanese) I was hoping somebody has those videos downloaded before it got removed, and possibly host them somewhere or even youtube it

rtl42 Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 Well it seems like they've removed the files so that's not really an option anymore In any case, after I enter the password and go to their download page, I'm pretty much stuck (no obvious download buttons/links, everything in japanese) the leftmost button on the toolbar in the filebank folder is the download button. hover the mouse over it, and a list will appear with two options; pick the second (bottom) one. if you haven't used Filebank before, it'll ask you to accept and install the Filebank download manager -- you don't have to do anything special, just follow the on-screen instructions; i forget if it's in moonspeak, but the GUI is pretty intuitive/western anyways. once it's installed, the download manager will come up, and it'll ask where you want your files to be saved; just hit the button to "browse" if you don't like the download location it automatically gives. after you pick a location and accept, the items you chose to download will appear in the manager; you then have to select one (usually the one at the top of the list), and then hit the "download" button on the bottom-right of the manager.

Currently, after getting to the actual file and then trying to download the vids I've selected, I click on the 2nd option in the box w/an arrow icon.....yet nothing happens. The strange thing is, last time I was on Filebank, i was able to download match vidz, it was my first time too as well. Help??!?

ARGH! I finally figured out what the problem was! I use firefox, and apparently filebank doesn't even work with firefox goddamn...

(tried copy-pasting into ff/ie ... keep getting that invalid url error that big.freett gives)
selfishstyle Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 You can still download vids from FileBank using Firefox but you must do each file individually since it doesn't invoke the d/l manager. So it's worse in the way that you have to click many files 1 by 1 but it's better cause you can download 3 files at a time (maybe more, haven't tried) so you end up finishing faster than using their d/l manager since I remember the last time I used it (which was many months ago) that it would only let you d/l 1 file at a time.
