Martian Buddy Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 (edited) GG's to Wild Candy and anyone else who hung out in my lobby. It was all fun and games until that Narukami came in and bodied us all with competent Okizemi and shit. I didn't think I was that great with Yukiko, guess I was wrong! But maybe it couldn't hurt to put some more time into my Yukiko. Your Yukiko is pretty solid actually. I think having Yukiko in your pocket would be pretty solid, especially against characters where Naoto's zoning isn't quite as great. Edited September 27, 2013 by Martian Buddy
Wild Candy Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Like against the bane of my existence... Chie...
Martian Buddy Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 The bane of all non top tier characters, my friend.
Mugen Tux Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 GGs to some people on Ranked who got PSR boosts from my free Aki. Really should play this one on a more regular basis. Can't keep momentum for crap right now.
Wild Candy Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I'm going to be on a lot today to practice for the small tourney being held tomorrow. If you want to play, just post here, VM me, or Message me on PSN.
Wild Candy Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Good Games Dxmds, thanks for putting up with my lack of skills. But I'm thinking about dropping out of the tourney I entered. I don't think I'm ready for that kinda stuff yet.

I don't think I'm ready for that kinda stuff yet. I'd say stick in it. Even if you aren't amazing you get more experience when playing against someone in a serious setting. Besides, you can still have fun playing even if you go 0-2 and get bodied, like I do.

Martian Buddy Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Guess, your right. Want to go a round or something? I can go a few rounds in about a hour or so, I need to go pick up my sister from work.
Martian Buddy Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 GG's Wild Candy, your Naoto is definitely improved a lot. You have no idea how terrified I got when you landed Mudoon on me in the corner.
Wild Candy Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Yeah, now my main goal is to master the infamous SMP Loop. I'll just go ahead an say, it's a bitch. Anyway, yeah, I feel improved a lot. I think understand Naoto a little more now. (Lol, it sounds like I started a social link with her.) But yeah, from what I understand, Naoto doesn't so much pressure her opponent, but more so punishes them for every little mistake. If they whiff a move, she's at the perfect place to punish, and then set up more traps, and put herself in great positions to go into her snipe stance. Basically, you have to put in a small amount risk by giving your foe enough rope to hang them selves. I also feel like I got the hang of Shield of Justice and her SP Snipe Stance (The one where she rolls and crosses) to escape pressure! Anyway, thanks for the games.
Sadeyo Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 When creating a room is there any specific way to announce which connection you prefer? I want to say 2+ for connection preference but all you get is "no connection" or "high connection". Not having any fun when all I get is 0's and they skip the opening and want to rub it in my face by doing fancy combos in that disaster as I'm struggling to move on the stage.

Call the room 2+ and kick anyone who is lower. I don't know of any other ways :/
LegendaryRath Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I wish you could select specific connections instead of just 0 or 3+. I'm fine with 1s and 2s but I can't seem to get them in my lobbies. GGs to everyone after the FT10 yesterday. Flux just bodied everyone for like 2 hours.

Yeah, if I'm thinking of the same player, his Shadow Labrys is brutal! I got completely bodied when I faced him in the tournement. I'll probably be on for most of the evening if anyone wants to play.
Kirito235 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I'll probably be on for most of the evening if anyone wants to play. I'd like to play you. I need some matches because for the past few days I've made rooms and no one entered and played me. I'm really starting to think that people are sleeping on this game completely, and that worries me.
LegendaryRath Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Kirito, if you ever see me online just send me an invite. Our connection kind of sucked, but it can't hurt to try.
OmnixTSC Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I'll be online practicing for about an hour or so. Send me a message via PSN if you want to play :o
FluxWaveZ Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 GGs to those I faced in RSquared's lobby. Even though I still use it more than I should, I'm consciously trying to reduce the amount of times I DP. Next step: learning how to block.
Sadeyo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Still learning this game, who wants to go a few rounds in the next 10 minutes?
Sadeyo Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 if you're still on sadeyo I'll play Very shortly, I was just asked for a ft10 with surfeit so after that session please.
