GGs Sphinx, I'm planning on learning Shyukiko vs Mitsuru for P4U2 so I never have to play the Mirror btw that's why I was throwing her in occasionally xD.

So glad I managed to land that Mabufudyne Combo Midscreen vs you :P, that's the Combo I dropped vs Kenneth at Frostyfaustings.

I'm thinking about using Yukari or Aigis in P4U2 so I never have to play the mirror. Mitsuru vs Mitsuru is pretty troll half the time. That combo was sweet. It's always good to land thngs in netplay, that way you can drop them in tournaments :P

GGs also to Anne and rath, fun room. I guess rath got tired of the Mitsuru mirror as well. I wish I had a sub I was proficient in. That way I can escape them mirrors!

You guys think Mitsuru v Mitsuru is silly? Try playing Liz mirrors :vbang:.

No they're not "Silly" they aggravating to the point where I don't even want to play Mitsuru Mirrors in the new version. (These are my MU Notes)

~On the ground~

5A and Coup Lose to Sweep (Fatal Counter)

Sweep Loses to 5B(Fatal counter)

5B Loses to 5A and Coup(Full Combo from 5A, Heavy hit from Coup)

2B works poorly against JB and JD.

~In the Air~

JA trades get you nowhere and whiffs vs Sweep

JC whiffs vs Sweep and loses to Coup B usually.

JD loses to Coup B(Heavy hit and corner carry)

There's just very few solid ways to play the match-up.... the basic block-string starter can be low profiled by a fatal counter. Going in the air risks you getting hit by Coup B, but doing Coup B is a terrible Idea because you can be fatal-ed by sweep.

Sweep beats basic block-string starters and the move that beats you in the air and moves you but it can also be fatal-ed by 5B which means it's also incredibly risky.

Btw Sphinx just keep kicking my ass with Mitsuru whenever I play Yukiko, I would really like to learn her I just need to make sure I don't spend too much time in one place since I think I learn best that way. (By one place I mean either the Lab or Real matches) trying to balance it out this time since I won't really be playing her until P4U2 (Only vs Mitsuru) I don't want to spend too much time labbing combos that won't work.

Just consider it a minor distraction from practicing vs Aigis :P.

I forgot to check here after we finished playing. GGs. The mirror can be a bit much though lol.

Well, eventually I'll learn how to use Chie. She's pretty cool, but I tend to get bored of her and go back to Mitsuru. The thing about Yukiko is that there aren't a lot of them around. So it's good to play someone who's using her, even if it's subbing. :)

We should just do like DIE-Chan and switch to Persona Sho. Or at least one of us do that. Not sure if I'd enjoy Persona Sho mirrors lol.

But yeah, GGs. I really wish that 5A actually hit Mitsuru's sweep. That would make the mirror more bearable. Even though her sweep doesn't fatal in P4U2, it does if Mitsuru does droit, bringing us back to square one.

GGs to Anne. For Aigis is too good! I'm learning that match-up slowly but surely. Also, your sub-Chie uses the same color as mine! Woot!

Anyone up for games?

Also, good game to that one round I played against MikhailLuka, never in my wildest dreams would of thought my Yukiko would win a round against that crazy Naoto you were using.

Thanks, but I'm not all that great T^T You have Rath/Marth in the lobby so you can watch them and pick things up. You started using sweep to low profile j.C and 2D to call out me hugging the top of the screen, that's good.

I might play more tonight depending on how I feel.

Good games to Kubel99/Ventus Tatsushima, Ry-Buster, Rsquared, Fluxwave, and anyone else I played.

Hopefully my scrubby Naoto and Yukiko weren't too boring.

GGs to Elochai, FluxWave, BrokenStar, Bloo, and everybody else I played tonight.

BrokenStar, your Naoto's looking solid. If you start landing SMPs I'll be pretty damn scared.

I'm glad, I think we played before in one Token's tourney's, and I remember, you swept me under the rug. I'm glad I actually managed to win a round.

Your Chie is super strong, there so many times when I nearly shit bricks when you managed to get through my traps and start those nasty mix ups. Just a few right guesses, and Chie can easily murder Naoto! I think, I came close to winning a few, but you ended up stealing the match right from under me.

GGs to those I faced earlier. Been playing Teddie a bunch since I want to actually learn how to play him. I feel that I'm too reckless with Shadow Labrys and I don't play her as I should.

GGs tcorrea. That was pretty intense when we were both persona broken, and I got what would've been the game winning throw...but then I couldn't use the throw followup lol.

Anyone wanna help me practice my Naoto?

EDIT: Good games to everyone that was in my room, including Ry-Buster and Kyokenfighter! I had a blast, and I enjoyed watching some of the more skilled and experienced players duke it out!

I think my Naoto is starting to improve a bit, but I will go ahead and say mastering the SMP loops are a real bitch! (It doesn't help that I'm not that motivated to learn them since they are longer possible in the next game)

GGs, that Akihiko was out for blood. I hate falling back on meteor spamming but whatever. "Fuck Chie" and whatnot.

I wouldn't worry about the next game too much. It's not coming out for awhile plus learning combos that you find difficult may improve your overall execution. Definitely go at your own pace though, once stuff starts feeling like a chore you are doing it wrong, haha. I actually have a friend who plays an insanely good Naoto that can kick my ass, he also refuses to use SMP loops. Really odd choice, but hey, works for him.

Out for blood? Me? Anyway, the meteor spam didn't annoy me that much. What annoyed me most was that double dp. Can't believe that worked. But GGs Rybuster and Colpevole. Those were fun matches, tough I didn't get to play you Brokenstar. Stupid connection.

Well there's that, and the whole people know better to simply save their burst for SMP loops, which only results in Naoto losing precious meter. She's already fairly dependent on it to escape pressure, set up more traps, etc. I think I should try getting in the habit of using more of Naoto's silence and fear supers to compensate for the SMP loops, I find it easier just to keep the momentum in my favor then try to convert a certain poke into an SMP loop.

Basically, what I'm saying is I feel like the meter can be better spent on other things, you know.

Yeah, it was incredibly dumb. Aki scares the shit out of me, hence the mashing.

For sure, silence works especially good against certain characters. My friend hits me with it and he completely turns the tide, even though I'm Chie and it shouldn't cripple me that much. Losing my 5C sucks when Naoto has them long legs.

I think unless you play Akihiko or Aigis, your going to deal with some some sort handicap having all of C and D normals disable, being unable to burst, and being unable to use certain specials and supers.

Naoto's shotgun super can be just as deadly to, being able to inflict fear and knock off 6 skulls off of the fate counter, which can easily set Naoto up to instant kill the opponent. The fear also can amp up some of Naoto's damage output in combos.
