SoWL Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Why are people assuming that Azu-nyan's weak points interact with something other than his Drive specials? Those are the only moves that become unblockable, I don't see anything else mentioned anywhere. I also don't see any mention of the weak points stacking, but I do remember catching a glimpse of something like that in one of the videos. There are also his gauges which weren't mentioned so far.

I have to agree Saya shouldn't be a Murakumo too. If she were, she'd be Alpha-1 or something since she's the byproduct of all the units. Otherwise, no. Just no.

Either way its hype for Azreal lol. He seems like a really strong contender. I have to agree Saya shouldn't be a Murakumo too. That's because he never used his Drive His drills do work as space control, and the higher level you have, the longer it stays on the screen. Lvl 3 drill lasts for five full seconds and deals 2000 damage over 30 hits by itself.

Now if only I knew what Carl's OD really did, if you can land 6A off 2C>viv a, and if air tager buster is comboable. If that's what Azrael does, it's a good thing the drives actually need to connect to make weak points. But if that's true, his OD sounds stupid good. Bullet...looks scary...and I like it. Amane I want to see someone good try him. And for the people saying there might be 1 or 2 new characters, can I please see a source? That's too much to hope for in without proof. Especially when lamby is on the line.

clad120 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I don't think we will ever see kokonoe as a playable character, simply because she is not a fighter, she is a scientist. It would be awesome for sure, fighting with massives weapons coming out of nowhere, but it's not gonna happen.

Makoto works for Kokonoe (at least while she was a spy) and she still has Tager. Naturally Noel would be inclined, or has no choice but to join. I dunno about Ragna, but I know Kokonoe will do her damnedest to convince him to cooperate, if not join. He does have the Idea Engine and all. His C moves look like amazing zoning tools, I love that they pull the opponent towards you. Though I'm saddened that we got like, no footage of the player using his drive. You'd think that'd be the thing they'd wanna mess with the most. Watching those same C's go through the opponent over and over again... His 236/214AorB jumps are super awesome too, the mixups yo. j.2B description sorta reminded me of carl j.2C a tad, cept multi-hitting. Also, he prances rather then dashes. All dashes in his combos should say prance. I've always played zoner types when I can, though even I won't play them if I'm not fond of the design. Everything from the design to the general command normals is just great. I can't wait to see some legit combo work with her. <3
