BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 >implying saya is a man huge fallacy there.
TD Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 saya cant be a man. that would make noel (perhaps), nu (no) and mu (that's definitely not a man's ass body) males too. l refused to be tricked... again then again, l didn't actually see the second pic, it wouldn't show up for w/e reason. l assume the comparee would be amane as he definitely fits a dudefacethingyeah. was probably a swing and a miss rofl. if so, l humbly apologize

It was from the true ending. It's a girl. Second pic is just a machine. Edit: Or you could just be drunk right now and really confused I guess Edited October 15, 2012 by toanenadiz
Afro-Demon Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) TD, the second pic was that gold/yellow machine at the end of the first CP trailer. The one that had the game's glyph on its chest. Edited October 15, 2012 by Afro-Demon
Tokkan Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 TD, the second pic was that gold/yellow machine at the end of the first CP trailer. The one that had the game's glyph on its chest. The emblem is actually that of the BlazBlue (as in the Azure Grimoire, not the game), although that emblem is attributed to Calamity Trigger (as in the game, in-universe the words "calamity trigger" are just another name for "successor of the Azure" or more specifically Noel). Also, that's not a chest, it's a coffin. Much like the coffins Murakumos are kept in. Fun fact, they all have the BlazBlue emblem on them.
Circuitous Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 So your argument for them being the same thing is... a ring around their head. I don't think that's gonna cut it.
Kyosuke Kagami Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 If they turn the Empress the new Mu-12 (same base gameplay, with modifications, purple hair and more ass) that would be a more intelligent way to cover the lack of "berserked" Noel. I still want a Xi-14, though
Zuranamee Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 If they turn the Empress the new Mu-12 (same base gameplay, with modifications, purple hair and more ass) that would be a more intelligent way to cover the lack of "berserked" Noel. I still want a Xi-14, though Another problem with making a new Murakumo rather than having Nu just regenerate herself, where would Haz get all the souls he needs? He's teamkilled the entire Kagutsuchi branch twice now and Ikaruga doesn't have a branch IIRC.
WolfCrimson Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Oh, I dunno. Maybe he'll just, y'know, kill all of Ikaruga. But seriously, I see v-13 being the new sword murakumo.
Putin Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Did every Murakumo Unit need an amount of souls? Murakumo, the actual Nox, needed souls in order to be created just like the rest of the Nox, but what's done is done. And Mu was a different case, since Noel represented the true blue. I might be spewing bullshit here because >lol bb story, but I'm curious.
Ten Yaiba Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 M... Mikado? Showing off skin o.O? with all her fabric-y finery? I'd be dissapoint... clothing needs a huge buff in this series and if the overlord of NOL winds up like MU the mind slave it would be a devistating nerf. Though if that machine from the trailer is a murakumo coffin, then maybe I was accidentally close with my joke, in that a regenerating Nu may return with a completely different playstyle. I know my BB skill is gomi-level, so I'll probably never have to worry about this but... If Azrael's super that forces both weakpoints (the low damage super) has descent minimum damage it could be a fantastic combo ender. Fruther, it staggers on hit right? If it gives inough time to connect one of his drives it could get really dangerous. (Hah... as if a could combo into super) How quickly have we seen Amane switch between long and short range game? If he uses long range drills and (for example, let's just say I do something crazy) I'm playing Bang and I GP it to teleport in can Amane just quickly go into close range game and interrupt the follow-up attack (excluding 2D godsauce)?
TD Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I'm still lost... me too. me... too... thanks guys for clarifying haha
MetalMaelstrom Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Do we know if Azrael's weak points stay on a character if Azrael gets hit? I'm on shitty wifi right now and can't check out videos so I would like to know.
Josshu Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 If they turn the Empress the new Mu-12 (same base gameplay, with modifications, purple hair and more ass) that would be a more intelligent way to cover the lack of "berserked" Noel. Yeah that's what I assumed they'd do too. I just thought they'd give us a palette swapped Mu with purple hair and say it's the Imperator.
zeth07 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 The emblem is actually that of the BlazBlue (as in the Azure Grimoire, not the game), although that emblem is attributed to Calamity Trigger (as in the game, in-universe the words "calamity trigger" are just another name for "successor of the Azure" or more specifically Noel). Also, that's not a chest, it's a coffin. Much like the coffins Murakumos are kept in. Fun fact, they all have the BlazBlue emblem on them. Just to add to this, In the first part of the trailer with the mech, the coffin is either being placed INTO the mech or is coming OUT of the mech. Considering the second part of the trailer, it would seem like it is coming out of the mech. This could imply the next Murakumo boss was being restored or made within the mech, considering the Murakumo graveyard stage they are possibly using all "parts" of them to generate a "new" one. I guess it could be placed into the mech for the same reason, but I just hope the mech isn't something you have to fight. I'm hoping this is more of a stage setting, like the difference between Hazama's end game stage turning into Mu's stage. So initially the coffin will be in the mech>you fight Hazama>next Murakumo comes out of the coffin. Also there was something else you can notice on the mech. The other red colored symbols are the same symbols that are on Nu's chest in the Material Collection. The difference being on Nu it has "13"/十三 in the top middle section then the lower "wings" representative of the swords obviously. You can see the same symbol on Noel's chest but the swords part have the design of the swords more like you see in the emblems and hers has 12 obviously. Yet the symbols on the mech don't appear to be a number, so they must be something else. It most definitely isn't "14" so no Xi-14 for those expecting that. The middle symbol could be something in Japanese but the image is too blurry to make it out, while the top symbol is just something else entirely and does NOT appear on Nu or Noel. Thus the middle symbol could very well not be a number at all. My initial guess would be Saya, but then I realized it wouldn't really make sense for her to be in one of the coffins for any reason. I could however see the mech itself being related to Saya and the coffin is just being used for it or by it.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 So your argument for them being the same thing is... a ring around their head. I don't think that's gonna cut it. Circ, you're a great mod, but do you EVER say anything that's positive reinforcement? me too. me... too... The more I reply to you the more confused I get... Do we know if Azrael's weak points stay on a character if Azrael gets hit? I'm on shitty wifi right now and can't check out videos so I would like to know. They only go away if he hits them from my understnading.
mAc Chaos Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Circ, you're a great mod, but do you EVER say anything that's positive reinforcement? It's like good cop / bad cop. Except instead of a good cop there's 50 other bad cops.
Circuitous Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Circ, you're a great mod, but do you EVER say anything that's positive reinforcement? I've had a "Give BladeOfJustice7 a pat on the head every time he posts something smart" policy since you joined, I've just never had to act on it. As far as actual positive reinforcement, I don't play BlazBlue and I think speculation is stupid, so I have nothing to add here. Unless I need to get people back on topic (or make a cutting remark) I don't bother.
Lord Pwnge18 Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Not sure if anyone has seen it already or not, but we now have loli Makoto, underboob very much intact.
Bren Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Judging by how Tager, Bang, and Hakumen's remixed themes sound now, I'm pretty sure they're going to be changed pretty heavily. The remixed themes sound more metal in comparison to their original versions, kinda like how GGX's music was remixed in GGXX where the themes were made to sound more like power rock. Also, let's hope this time there aren't any drum machines. Ever since BB1 Daisuke has been using drum machines instead of actual ones and it shows. The beats seem extremely hollow, like you can't feel any impact. Link to these or whatever gameplay you can hear them in? Thanks.
Star-Demon Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Wow. 109 big pages and I can't even begin telling everything I have to say about the game stuff I've read and watched so far. To keep it short - If you guys don't know about it, there's a BlazBlue wikia, and while it's pretty good it needs help here and there. Before you speculate you should carefully think about everything from CT and CS, as well as the novels. (Let us buy these things localized Japan pls.) As the thread has gone on things are kinda just going anywhere. Anyways - Looking forward to new crush system and overdrives. Although this will mean players will really have to be on point with defense. Kinda scary to me, but I suppose I'll get used to it. Litchi - Litchi is getting a 4B. I bet it's RCable. Can't wait. I don't understand why give her puffballs, though, other than to make her more like Jam just because. I don't like that. New staff super will be nice if it has a little invul on startup. Otherwise I hope she's so bad I'm the only person using her. :P New chars - Very excited. All of them look very fun. All of them have neat actors. The franchise - I hope they really throw into this as a company. I'd love to see plenty of new merchandise, contest and tourney goodies and ways for fans to get involved. New Bururaji episodes also great. I'm glad Mori also decided that he couldn't wrap it up in one game and call it a trilogy - you take the time you need to do a story. Also - if BBCP is a wash then they can learn a lot from this and move on to a new game. People like this franchise a lot, even though the series is kinda young and is struggles with a bad rep. Throw in and you'll see the rewards come out of the franchise. There's a lot about it I wonder about gameplay and story wise, but ultimately we have to be patient.
