New guy reminds me of an older Carl, same calm calculation and yet, sinister. Like he could murder someone without hesitation if necessary.

The GG character poll results were posted up a while ago. Bridget won. You have fun with that.

People must really like male characters that look like girls and vice versa.

HIYOOO!

More like Bang, Tager, and Azrael are walking around wondering what's up with all the angry lesbians attacking each other.

Uhh and Hakumen is a lesbian...?

I can sort of understand with Jin and Hazama, and definitely understand with Amane, but Ragna, Haku, Valk, and Relius look like women? Did you grow up in a male bodybuilder enclave?

guys

please

can we at least have one arguably androgynous character come along and not have at least one or two people question gender roles

now please get back to actual story talking or whatever happens in here

I've always wanted to see a timeskip of what Carl could turn out to be, I guess Hibiki is it. Wish there was room enough for 2 playable traps in this game ;__;

What new guy? Kagura?

Yeah, hibiki. Seems like you guys may be on the same page. A darker, younger character ought to spice up this story nicely. Carl doesn't quite do it, though that might be because of his potential not maturing quite to that level yet.

dont mind my speculation, he could end up being another linhua, it was just be cooler if he was a possible threat.

I believe these girly men are considered exceptionally masculine in japan.

Jubei @ 17 :vbang: I was expecting top 10 easy

Hibiki Kohaku really looks like a female, just because the VA is male doesn't mean anything... unless the article says otherwise

Article specifically calls him a bishounen. That's pretty damn male, emphasis on the pretty.

A question about the Dan Ranking system: Based on what we have seen, is it safe to say that it accurately reflects player skill levels (not counting those who just started out)? What are its limitations?

Not really. Those who go to arcades with not that good regulars can reach higher dans easier, since the competition is easier. However, this should be alleviated online, as it is global, unless the player always plays under a specified region.

Hmm, that's a pretty looking lady. I wonder what's her role in the story-

BB and its pretty men...

...Oh f*ck you, Mori :vbang:

Haha, watch as Hibiki is made the only DLC character in CP while Kokonoe, Jubei and Phantom/Nine are left for the sequel :vbang:.

I don't even care much for those 3 being playable so take this as more of joke.

It makes me wonder how Mori plans on wrapping up the Blazblue universe. What I mean by that is, how is he going to address a lot of the side NPCs since there's quite a few of them and possibly even more if we begin to include all of the Duodecim families. I think it is fairly unrealistic that most of their heads will be playable considering how costly and time consuming a single character is.

It alleviates that issue, but it brings a separate one that also throws doubt on ranking. Teh lagz.

You have to realize that being playable means jack all nothing in terms of your ability to be involved in the story. Yes, wrapping up this "plot" is going to take some doing, but it's not because somehow he needs to make every major character playable.

I know. That's why I was saying that expecting every Duodecim head to be playable is an unrealistic pipe dream. I was more wondering how'd he address them since Blazblue-verse is massive in terms of the amount of characters.

BB and its pretty men...

I honestly thought it was a girl before I read this post...fucking Japan.

Honestly, I'm surprised Tsubaki beat Noel, even if it is by one. You know what this means, Tsubaki for new heroine.

Hakumen being #7...I can live with that.

People weren't so much voting for Tsubaki as they were for Asami Imai.

Pretty much my reaction to this. And I can't blame them, really: there haven't been a role of hers that I didn't like so far.

Glad to see Bullet get the top space out of all the new chars, even getting into top 10. Way to go, girl.
