LegendaryRath Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 The training room seems like something I would use a lot. Trying to explain and teach things to someone online has always been a hassle.
Kurushii Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 (edited) player matches have 4 total options, which are: 対戦・観戦ルーム(1v1/Spectate room): traditional BB player match room 全員乱戦ルーム(Free-for-all room): everyone plays a 1v1 match at the same time トレーニングルーム(Training room): as the name implies, play training mode with other people リプレイ鑑賞ルーム(Replay room): watch downloaded replays with others the rest of the stuff in kurushii's video is pretty easy to figure out. Other notes I had: -Connection rating can be displayed for every player inside a lobby. (Will be helpful to know who's connection is legit before doing a match) -Icons displayed next to your name in Player Match rooms. -Avatars have multiple color palettes. -Plates have multiple color palettes. -You can wait for online matches while playing Arcade, Training, VS, Tutorial, Challenge, Score Attack, and Unlimited Mars. -Player Match settings can be edited while inside a room. -Player Titles for your D-Card Profile is three slots, and a huge list of words like P4U. -Can set what time you are available to play on your D-Card Profile. -Icons and Plates don't seem to be a gacha system like Arcade. Looks to be like BBCSE gallery where you just pick a hidden one and purchase with P$. Edited September 6, 2013 by Kurushii
Dreiko Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Also, later on in that ep they joked about DLC avatars for that new lobby thing. They had a maid costume Noel one they showed when they were joking about it though so they may either be serious or at least we may get to pick many versions for the little sprite we walk around with in the 64 player lobby.
Tokkan Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 -Plates have multiple color palettes (Not available in the arcade). False, that feature is in fact available in arcades. It was even advertised as a feature of the player's guild before launch. http://www.famitsu.com/images/000/024/585/50a9125087542.html

There is only a default color for each plate design. I've seen it myself as I have access to the the arcade profile site and have ripped almost all of it.

Kurushii Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUOql8BL2l0 Then explain to me why Ryuusei has a pink version of the Jin plate in this video? I figured it out. Not every plate has multiple ones. All the ones Jiyuna had purchased only had default. The other colors choices aren't shown when you are purchasing a color. I had to purchase a color then go into the profile for it to show the other choices.
Tokkan Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 http://sp.bbcp.ac/info_event_list.php?y=2013&m=09#info59 Azrael won the "Character General Election". Which means Azrael's going to be the announcer in the arcade version for a limited time and also get a special illustration.
Chaoschao222 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Dang, Azrael went from getting beaten by the Azteca in popularity to beating Rachel in this... something. Good job, mr. man.
KayEff Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 (edited) the poll was a ranking of which character worries the most (in the most literal sense). this could either mean that the character is annoying, something is concerning about the character, or (unlikely) that something is exciting about the character. wouldn't make sense to have the most annoying character be an announcer...but take everything with a grain of salt i guess. Dafuq? That's not what it is. The poll is part of an event called "The BBCP 1st Character General Election" which ran from the 8th through to the 31st of August and in which players spend their P$ to vote on their favourite of the current playable cast (20P$ = 1 vote, 200P$ = 10 votes). The winning character was going to have their VA become the announcer in the Arcade version for a limited time, have a special title and a special icon commemorating their victory awarded to all registered players and have a "limited illustration" of them posted on the official site at a TBD date. http://blazblue.jp/topics.html#topics533 Edited September 2, 2013 by Tokkan
KayEff Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 the second link you posted was an announcement for a poll on their favorite character, as quoted: お気に入りのキャラクターに投票しよう! 気に入りのキャラクター translates to "pleased with character," which is most often taken as "your favorite character." now here's the title for the announcement in the first link. 【総選挙】キャラクター総選挙結果発表!気になる1位は…!? first part キャラクター総選挙結果発表 translates to "character general election announcement." second part 気になる1位は…!? translates to "make worry 1st place is...!?" now that i look at the original context, i'd presume this is a poll of which character people hated the most. the point is, 気に入る and 気になる are pretty much polar opposites and should not be considered the same, and the recent announcements were not one that showed everyone's favorite character. meaning azrael will not be the one getting the announcer voice and all that neat stuff. they even said in that same post that they'll announce the actual "favorite characters" results later.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 ...So what...does this mean Azreal is the least favorite or some shit?
Starlight777 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 ...So what...does this mean Azreal is the least favorite or some shit? Only because this is the era of moe anime. I have a feeling either the character with the most popular VA or the cutest character is going to take this vote.
Zedar90 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 first part キャラクター総選挙結果発表 translates to "character general election announcement." second part 気になる1位は…!? translates to "make worry 1st place is...!?" What... While 気になる can mean "make worry" a much better translation would be "to be on one's mind". The "気になる1位は…!?" is meant to build anticipation, English equivalent would be "And the first place is...". Azrael won the poll with 16%(174169) of the 1084602 total votes.
beanwich Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 You're lazy. I am offended. XD The reason I'd rather not have to make a Japanese account is because I don't want to have to switch accounts just to play one game, plus, I don't really want to create another E-mail, or have to sign up again. I'm not lazy, I just don't want to deal with that stuff.

But I think you can play the game in your normal account. You just need the JPN account to download Terumi or get some DLC. Once downloaded you can play in your normal account with all the DLC stuff.

Myoro Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I know I'm late to the party but do any of you think Terumi will get something crazy (broken) like a rapid cancel loop? possibly in the corner? It'd be amazing (fraudulent) if he could loop like 4 or 5 moves and build enough gauge to RC then lather, rinse, repeat.
Putin Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 They probably already saw that coming and went for the easy route right away; every meter draining move will probably have smp Or each of them will drain meter only once per combo or something

Plus there is always the part where you give your opponent enough meter to counter assault you? (UNLESS HE STEALS METER WHEN YOU'RE BLOCKING. that's stupid by the way, don't do that) inb4 terumi counter assault baits Edited September 3, 2013 by spaghetti
Starlight777 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Terumi does steal meter on block though.
spaghetti Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I hope guard bonus remedies the meter LOSS on block. That is just a turd waiting to explode
