TD Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 l knew it!!!! so glad l actually saw this work. ...bbl 214a dash 6a 4b 236a(frog hits)... works. the entire combo was (midscreen) 2b 5b 5cd 3c bbl 214a dash 6a 4b 236a(frog hits) 5cc pumpkin. so bbl into frog is still in, l assume this works in the corner too and extra hits look like they can be added while frog is active so the combo could be expanded even further.
kirbster Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 That's from a pretty early BBL though, I wonder if (and hope) it works when there are more hits before BBL, like after a corner carry combo or something. Then again they fixed the hitbox on it so 5cd 3c BBL always connects now :D
samthegreat Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 A certain time for your combo is allowed depending on the starter, so it probably won't work if you BBL too late from a weak starter.

TD Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 5c alone? no 5cc? wow that's neat. l always thought 5c fatal was pretty meh, the options after it would rape the proration now (6c), later (5cc), or rape wind (3c). good to see we can do something from it without overcommiting. pretty sure combos from 5c fatal will reach 7k or more.

It's decent as a pressure ender as the options after 5c can push rachel or the foe to a safe enough distance where we could retreat, or continue pressure using winded 6c mixup. It's better now because it causes spin state allowing for plenty of time to do frog or whatever. With 25 heat we now have a mixup after 5c which we never had: high/low. Not anything game breaking but will keep the foe on their toes with a more traditional mixup. It also yields the most potential damage out of all her frame traps. Once ch 6b is combo able again we will finally have a decent frame trap game again, which she might need with how little damage she can do on average currently.

I wouldn't say she is playing CSE in CP because some essential things in CSE are altered(or is completely gone) in CP.
TD Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 ct is definitely beginning to show it's importance, no wonder bbl got nerfed. the damage and wind regen seem worth the 25 heat. l wonder if there's a cooldown for using it though.

mMarikom Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 It's really interesting to see her use CT this way, and even more interesting that it grounds...and I haven't seen anything to imply there would be a cooldown. The 25 heat cost is probably seen as enough.
