chun_li1 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 which download (1s 2nd etc)? cuz i cant read the page. who does the 75% combo? (crosses fingers hoplessly for dizzy) Nope, May does the combo. Well, its more like 65-70%, but its landed from a CH. Its just the vert. dolphin loops, but sure hurts on Dizzy.
Hellmonkey Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 nabaiken has improved a TON since the last time I saw videos of him. I'm impressed.
Ice Prince Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 nabaiken has improved a TON since the last time I saw videos of him. I'm impressed. Yes I was impressed myself. He's come a ways.
stinkymonz Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 4th Suzume vs. Fumo vid; first 2 rounds are just pwnage.
rtl42 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 does anyone know if Bell and Nabaiken are the same player? I thought I heard Kakyuu (A-cho announcer) refer/introduce Nabaiken as "Beru" in his most recent A-cho match, but I'm not sure.
Climhazzardous Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Wow, that was amazing play by Nabaiken, so tense.
frcflyingjohnny Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Suzume is fuckin awesome. He makes me realize I have no joystick. edit : Holy fucking shit. Full life combo. Suzume(JO) vs. Fumo (ABA) 5.
Zoogstin Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 OMG the Zappa's at Gamechariot are too sick. The ghosts, sword, and dog all due their part to kick some serious butt.
Jet Set Dizzy Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 yea the vs.:KY: the sword combos are crazy and the stoges tactics are great.
Zoogstin Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Yeah. Ky couldn't do jack squat. And what up with the time ups in and match. Was Sol that intimidated by Zappa's dog?
Pinion Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 http://gravedigger.web.infoseek.co.jp/GGXX/movie.html Oolong Cha (烏龍茶) (JA) vs Wind (PO) x11 I couldn't help but notice that in a good deal of these matches the Potemkin player would hit Jam with a Gigantor after Slide Head. Is the dude just not blocking on get up? Or is the actual Gigantor mirror OTGing Jam? Either way, OTG or not it's still a free Slide Head into Heat combo 50/50 setup afterwards so it's all good.
Darkhonor90 Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Yeah. Ky couldn't do jack squat. And what up with the time ups in and match. Was Sol that intimidated by Zappa's dog? Well consider that both times Sol would have died he was trying to zone but Sol doesn't have the best zoning tools. Mostly 5HS and GF Zappa can beat both and get a free combo into Summon or w/e that silly guy is up too:eng101:
Ice Prince Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Is it just me, or does seem to do well against most of the "bad match ups" most other characters have? I know owns on pretty much everything, so being a Millia player, I'm just curious on that since I don't play Zappa.
Zoogstin Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Well the thing about is that he's very situational as you can imagine. In terms of matchups, its not as much about Zappa vs. <insert character here> but more of ghosts/dog/sword/roah vs. <insert character here>. Each of his summons are better than others depending on what character he fights. A good example would be how screwed Zappa can be sometimes when he has the sword against 's long range crap. In the Sol video it can be determined that Zappa's dog is pretty decent verse even if your stategy involves sacrificing the dog inorder to get inside. But then there are the overall bad matchups for Zappa. so meh... Of course whether you have the appropriate summon or not, you're stuck with what you have so you have to make the best of it.
Ice Prince Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Ah ok. I guess it sucks considering you really don't know which summon you're going to get most of the time. Zappa players get mad props.
Jet Set Dizzy Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Ah ok. I guess it sucks considering you really don't know which summon you're going to get most of the time. Zappa players get mad props. especaily if you FINALLY get the right one and then get defensive bursted and back to square one.
Ice Prince Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 especaily if you FINALLY get the right one and then get defensive bursted and back to square one. Lord that would make me want to cry. There are just some characters, mainly and that you just have to commit to, and I know it's so disheartening when you lose after so much effort. So those players especially have my respect.
Josh Ballard Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 omg H.H. playing dizzy again wmcmityfjkgmbnmflk i honestly thought he was gonna jump on the testament bandwagon, glad to see michael jackson going back to his roots!
Nehle Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 countdown till first good dizzy player wins a match! ..this could take a while
Ice Prince Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 I think it's a safe assumption that got the worst deal for AC......but it's just my two cents.
