AtTheGates Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 http://blog.livedoor.jp/trf_ggxx/ 8/28 mike vs. abegen ...i never saw a jam destroy a pot like this...i couldn“t stop laughing the whole match...priceless i love those matches. very, very good 3v3. especially the aba is just sick and clearly shows why aba is a counterpick to pot (easy mode doublekey combos & unthrowable dansai). also, its hilarious when the announcer is like "HOKUTO! HOKUTOOO!" after a coast to coast jam combo and 2 x dizzy in 2 rounds vs, hos, haha. and abegen is crazy. very unique style, lots of improvisation and stuff i've never seen before. nasty: after a corner HPB vs buri, 2p OTG, slidehead - hits buri just as he wakes up. also, he tried using 2hs FRC to avoid fausts burst, too bad it didn't work because of delay
Dr. Stormlocke Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 23 vs 23: Haha, Banchou's Robo uses Det. Mode + Force Break. Sick. Close match.
Wind Owl Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 lol yeah, the title of match 18 (Niiyama (AX) vs H.H (DI)) is ćå³ć ććęćć§ę±č»ćęć£ćē·ć, or "The man who saved the eastern army with an impudent throw" and the next match, Yossan vs H.H is ćććććć£ćććć³ćć®åć«ćÆē”åć, or "However, he was powerless before the Yossan Punch"
Zakuta Asura Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 OH!! OHH!!!! OHHHH!!!!!!!!! OOHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woshige matches as cool as always - shame he couldn't take out Maruken though. R.F did the business...Faust doesn't even have to change the way he plays!
Honnou Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 Yeah R.F. just knows the match pretty well from what I saw, using the low stance then far slashing every time baiken even tried the chain and the rest was the usual faust zoning.
bizarro Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 OMG? shonen vs. niga? shonen vs. H.H? where are they?!? T_T
axel Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 The best parts should be saved until the last moment. Ogawa's only match isn't up yet as well.

ethernal Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 About the ć²ć·ć² thing : the wo is usually sound o when it is used in japanese. That means for thećć particle (exclusive use of the kana in the japanese language, apart from nouns). In nouns, it is pronounced wo, since there is an ć(ćŖ) kana if you want it pronounced o About åå : If it is not ko-usagi (It sounds really bad, but if you know it for sure...), it MAY be shitsu (yeah, just like the dog) or shito EDIT : people should stop trying to start flame wars by being aggressive... More about åå : in japanese basics, you learn that words composed by several kanji (and only kanji) are read the "chinese" way (onyomi), which in this case would'nt give ko-usagi... THE exception is when you use them for names, in which case they are read a special way (nanori)... this would'nt give ko-usagi either, as the rabbit kanji doesn't seem to be used for names however. But the word åå doesn't seem to even exist in japanese, just as there is no single word in english to say "young rabbit" (like kitten for "young cat"). Assuming it's a nickname, one cannot know the way it is pronounced but by hearing it.
Shinjin Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 people should stop pretending too know japanese... its kousagi, #1 source: kakyuu pronounced it that way. “nuf said. Nabaiken <3
Hellmonkey Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I asked gibson to bring kada next year Then he asked me if I used the blue color because kada does, and I said no and he was like lol I was worried.

AtTheGates Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 finally, a new batch of chipp matches on GC. will update with impressions.
Hideki Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 The Promise OS cm is awesome. Huge video quality, nice song and edition, and cool setups and combos. 9/10
Hideki Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Fucking finally! The "miracle-flight" creator strikes on AC with "The 3rd", here are my opinions: Awesome, as always, but no so great as his last movie. Some crazy shit (2 tensionless reps. of 236+S>S loop, tensionless 6x 6+P,n.HS, 6+HS > dash, P, 6+P... [WTF! *_*], some crazy reverse wallsticks...) and lots of death combos. Not the flashy edition of his last production, and not so good music. A nice jam cm, probably, the best this far on AC, but miracle flight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKOnhnzD_Ps) is still the best Jam movie ever.
Senix Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 In the third Jo vs Za match Johnny kills Zappa in one combo -___- painful
