BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I'm interested in this too. It seems weird they made a new character so strong he could defeat so many people whilst still on Level 1 of his Dragunov limiter. He wasn't even trying. Full-Power Hakumen is just ridiculous, though. I couldn't see him losing to Azrael. It might be close, though. Sounds like the typical Mary Sue, new character comes from nowhere and beats the shit out of all the strong guys.
ReRe01 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Didn't you mean to say Gary sue because Mary sue is the term for a female character Gary sue is the term for a male character.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Didn't you mean to say Gary sue because Mary sue is the term for a female character Gary sue is the term for a male character. ....I could be smartass, but I'll just say you missed the point; it's the fact that Azreal is somehow more powerful than the top tier fighters.
Orihalcon Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Didn't you mean to say Gary sue because Mary sue is the term for a female character Gary sue is the term for a male character. It's Gary Stu, moron. And I think somewhere Mori said that there's a good reason for why Azrael is as strong as he is, and he has some pretty big importance to the plot, so we'll probably find out in the console version
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Mori says a lot of things, and yet we're still asking questions, just saying.
kylehyde Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 During Mu's arcade mode, is she still hostile towards Ragna or are they friends now? I mean, after CT I thought Noel and Ragna would have some sort of understanding with each other, but nope, first thing that happens they fight with each other. Who didn't see that coming?

Read last page, it says Mu/Noel wants to fight Ragna to prove that she's just as capable as him....besides it's a fighting game, they contrive any reason they can to fight.
ReRe01 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 And I was not be a smartass I just tell you what did was wrong when it comes to over power characters he not a female he a male and I'm not a moron so would like a apology you can per nouns it both ways Gary Sue or Stu.

I know why they fight, I'm just asking is her tone of voice like mean spirited or she's actually greatful to him. She could still want to be as strong as him and yet still dislike him. Ragna always seems to get the short end of the stick with Noel for me for some reason.
mAc Chaos Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Cut out the squabbling guys. Noel always seems to WANT to like Ragna, but Ragna always pushes her away.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Noel wants to prove herself to Ragna....maybe because she likes him, I dunno, it's incest not touching it, but Ragna's a dick like that. .....Oh god, they're totally Tsundere for each other, that's adorable....and creepy.
kylehyde Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Cut out the squabbling guys. Noel always seems to WANT to like Ragna, but Ragna always pushes her away. Always? What do you mean? She only met the guy in a couple of scenes and they we're all pretty much. "Ragna the Bloodedge, your under arrest!"
mAc Chaos Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Yeah I was pretty much thinking of the beginning of CS where he tells her to get lost and she goes off to cry in the bushes or something. Maybe in CP he'll be more willing to have her around. Also is it really incest, since she's a different person. I meant like as in liking him because of her dormant memories.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I dunno, he did kinda save her twice and he's got the whole white haired pretty boy badass image goin.
LionHeartx Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Always? What do you mean? She only met the guy in a couple of scenes and they we're all pretty much. "Ragna the Bloodedge, your under arrest!" I remember them traveling together in cs's story mode for a little then they had an argument and ended up going thier seperate ways.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I remember them traveling together in cs's story mode for a little then they had an argument and ended up going thier seperate ways. Noel wanted to talk, Ragna told her to screw off. That's the gist of it.
kylehyde Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I honestly can't wait for Rachel's arcade, hope there's some good stuff in it.
Moy_X7 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Makoto becoming said vessel. "Said vessel?" What are you talking about?
GEKKA Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 "Said vessel?" What are you talking about? I think it's the one that Hazama and Relius go on about? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Moy_X7 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Relius says that her soul would be a good material to create a "Detonator" (a doll like Ada or Ignis). According to Relius, souls that have a lot of hatred within are great for his experiments. Deep inside, Makoto hates humans for all the shit they gave her for being a Beastkin as she grew up, until she met Noel and Tsubaki at the Military Academy. Makoto shoves those thoughts deep in the back of her mind. It's all in Relius's arcade mode and in CSE Makoto's story mode.

LionHeartx Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Noel wanted to talk, Ragna told her to screw off. That's the gist of it. yeah that sounds about right
Orihalcon Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 And I was not be a smartass I just tell you what did was wrong when it comes to over power characters he not a female he a male and I'm not a moron so would like a apology you can per nouns it both ways Gary Sue or Stu. Too bad. Relius says that her soul would be a good material to create a "Detonator" (a doll like Ada or Ignis). It always felt more like Makoto stopped hating humans, but Relius did his mind-rape thing to make her believe she still hated them. At least, that's how it seemed.
Moy_X7 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Now that I didn't know. I just guessed that he created "Detonators" because he gets a kick out of it lol. It always felt more like Makoto stopped hating humans, but Relius did his mind-rape thing to make her believe she still hated them. At least, that's how it seemed. Yeah, I believe that Makoto is suppressing her hatred for humans but Relius knows how to make those thoughts surface gain. Relius is always going on about "Yes, hatred is good" and "your soul is interesting". Still, there might be more to Makoto's soul than just her suppressed hatred. The "bonds of friendship" make her soul strong as well from what we've learned in her CSE story mode. Then again, that contradicts the whole "hatred makes your soul stronger" theory that Relius is always preaching about.
