Getting hit before the umbrella starts raining nails does NOT use up any nails. This was the one thing I worried about the most regarding that move. Thank goodness. :D

Oh and I think Bang says "combo wo kue" ("get comboed", "eat a combo", a phrase along those lines) during his j623B....that's hilarious and awesome. XD

since throw SEEMS to be special cancellable (and not strictly airdash cancellable like in extend) it probably means we can combo grab into astral near corner again like in CS1

also Grab midscreen canceled into bumper summons and continue comboing like in CS1. There were some really cool midscreen grab combos that setup bumpers and used them. We'll see if they make a return.

Couldn't we go straight into astral from swallow moon midscreen? If we can, Bang has a LOT of stuff thats awesome.

The easiest setup for astral will definitely be umbrella-astral since it doesn't use up meter any more, just have em block it and TK it. :D

From what I saw, It doesn't go offscreen, and it stays in the corner, soooooooooo yeah. LOINCLOTH FESTIVAL!!!!

Even if it were to go offscreen, all you'd have to do would be activate it a bit further back, hell, we can now actually do something into OD cancel, then umbrella, then fly with FRKZ airdashes into the astral from like, half across the screen. FRKZ no loner uses meter and astrals no longer need bursts so we have a bunch more ways of landing ours.

Did Bang just jump cancel his blocked 5B into swallow moon into falling j.C? Seems like a decent option but... I wish his swallow moon was TKable too.

5D air counter hit nets a midscreen wall bounce that looks like it can be picked up. This feels so weird for some reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if this led to a 4 seal combo, considering their new combo system. having a D starter like that will probably make it possible.

EDIT: I love the new Dnails so much. So much more room for creativity. Rising DNails airdash (2369D 66) might even allow you to cross up opponent before theyre done blocking, allowing some guilty gear style projectile crossups.

Personally I don't understand how he can be ok with CT Bang and CS2 Bang but not with this...*Shrug*
