kaeru Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 (edited) I'm thinking maybe more like a jump cancel, cancel into overdrive. Like the 6D -> gold burst that we witnessed in CS2 i feel so lost without my strider color Edited November 28, 2012 by kaeru
GreekAngel Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Yes he does. It might be a combo extender or just plain random floating lols
GreekAngel Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 623B fatal property has been removed, apparently... It kinda doesn't matter.
Dreiko Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Yes he does. It might be a combo extender or just plain random floating lols It's both and also good for double crossups, it seems to stop momentum and will make for some ambiguous stuff.
zdravkelja Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 And for high/low mixup. I saw j.4B > float > j.4B in one match. Good stuff 623B fatal property has been removed, apparently... It kinda doesn't matter. Did he gain any? 5C is the only one left, and it was useless till now...
GreekAngel Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Sounds so dirty, bro. Can we do his J22A after D nails?
Dreiko Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 You prolly can but not instantly after. And for high/low mixup. I saw j.4B > float > j.4B in one match. Good stuff Did he gain any? 5C is the only one left, and it was useless till now... 3C is fatal too as well as J623B. It's pretty easy to counter stuff with too. 623B prorated so bad that even as a fatal it didn't lead to much damage, landing a 5B usually was preferable as a combo starter.
GreekAngel Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 A 623B fatal usually only lead to around 3k damage. At least it still wallbounces on counter hit.
Solemen Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 (edited) In EX, 623B was good in combos but never as a starter. However, j623B was VERY good as a starter and when you land a fatal, you can do an easy 5k combo (6k if done correctly in corner). Seriously, easy mid screen in EX is j623B Fatal, land > dash > 5B > 5C > 6D(or 2C) > daifunka = 5k =D. *EDIT: My damages were wrong, so I just changed them, sorry...* Edited November 28, 2012 by Solemen

zdravkelja Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Oh, I thought they removed FC from both aerial and ground version. We are good than. I forgot about 3C, lol
GreekAngel Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Well, it is still a good thing that Bang can get his damage off of J623B in this game, at least I hope.
Dreiko Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Oh, I thought they removed FC from both aerial and ground version. We are good than. I forgot about 3C, lol 3C is so underused for some reason, I don't get it, it's a freaking awesome move. I think it's all those post-CT Bangs who didn't have to struggle and make every little good thing about Bang's normals pull as much weight as possible that never bothered to find uses for 3C. 3C is guarandeed fatal on blocked Tsubame Gaeshi, punishes half of Tager's ground moves, slides under lobelias and even tempest dahlia, it even breaks primers, it has just so much stuff it can do! XD

Dreiko Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 That's why is so negative on block. Right, that's why you don't throw it out if you're not punishing something without meter for the RC.
GreekAngel Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Or throw it out at just the right time that the tip of 3C will hit making it not that minus on block.
Dreiko Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Ok so 6A>6B seems to be a natural frame trap: http://youtu.be/GoT-iMP-7VU?t=22m2s If it trades with Haku's 2A when done like this, it really will be scary lol.
GreekAngel Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Well, it really is a frame trap. SCORE 1 FOR DREIKOO

GreekAngel Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Does Bang have a bad match up against CP haku or something, because every Bang vs Haku I've seen, Haku always wins
iw2ma Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Does Bang have a bad match up against CP haku or something, because every Bang vs Haku I've seen, Haku always wins I've almost always thought the match wasn't very good in Bangs favor
