Yo 895! A big shoutout to everyone who threw into the prize money. Speaking of which, what is the payout for this? I just noticed that it wasn't mentioned at all in the first post.

Anyhow, I'm still in there for this. Plenty of players from New England will be rolling up.

so any plans for a team exhibition match?

As far as I know, the plan is still to do a 5v5 round robin. New England will have a team ready for that.

If it isn't top 3 we have a problem.

With what will likely be 35-50 entrants (@$25/person) and dat $895 bonus, I wouldn't be surprised if it were more than top 3.

Regardless, I think it'd make sense to set it in stone before the tournament, be it 70/20/10, 60/30/10, something with higher payout, or anything else.

profit to top 3/4/8, entry fees back to top 8/16/32 - thats my opinion if the pots gonna be that large. (depends on entrants obv)

if its 40 entrants for example, profit to top 4/8 with entrys returned to top 16 would be reasonable

Yeah, I originally was going to do it the normal 70/20/10.

May not have time for a round robin (unless we get 3 teams, but we should have New England, NY, NJ, and MD/VA), would do 4 team bracket instead.

This is smart. I support this message.

last time i drove to NL, i took street parking - it was free, area isnt too bad, nothing happened to my car, and it was a 1 block walk from car to NL

just for reference to people driving there

I've street parked at the venue without issues, it's just sometimes difficult to find a spot in Brooklyn.

No garage but street parking is available and so far noone at NL has had their ride bodied since its a pretty safe predominantly Asian neighborhood.

Public Transportatin in NYC is 24/7.

Parking garage if google is to be believed.

Thanks for the info people. It looks like parking won't be a problem if the street is safe, and there's a backup parking garage.

I'm taking a different route this time, but since NL is opening later nowadays it shouldn't be a problem - sounds like there's gonna be quite a crowd.

Jesus - 5PM? AM I going to be able to get back using LIRR?

Amadeous already offered.

I offered him to meet the Deer Skull at NEC.

You guys still have that!?!? Please bring it to NEC (or high stakes) I need a picture with that shit.

Also if there is a spot on the NJ team (no idea how there will be one, I think all the OG NJ players will be making it) I want in. Send me out to get bodied first (if you REALLY want me to I'll play my old main to better our chances).

Actually we put the Deer Skull back in the woods. We don't know where it is, since when we went back next Philly major, it was gone. Hence the threat ^_^.

Andrew, how many dedicated casuals setups will there be, if any? I know you got a lot of tourney to run, but will they be any dedicated casuals for the people who cant afford to enter/dont think they are good enough to deem it worth being a pot monster at 25$ entry?

What time is the arcade opening? It seems trains don't run on weekends out here. I'll have to hitch a ride to a mid-island station.

If I get there early I'll help set up.

Okay - I can afford to take a slightly later train if need be. I gotta get up the island by 9:40 or the next train :(
