tofurr Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 This is N-O. Quite a bit of Lotus experimenting in this. I was more interested in when N-O was trying to do CT into a lv2 j.2C (That's what it looked like at least). That Tsubaki kept bursting and DP mashing out of the corner though, lol.

Lotus activation looks like it can be a decent alternative to sword iris for annoying the opponent and preventing them from coming at you...

So far it's been used for amazing corner carry, zooming George and lobelias across the screen, and if you use 3CD, it'll carry Rachel across the screen incredibly fast. Bezel Lotus effects vertical wind. This one isn't used very much, if at all. When you hit an opponent with 3C8D, it pushes them up very high. There haven't been a lot of uses found for it yet. Both cause pumpkin to auto-home in on the opponent when winded around and when they are attaching to an opponent, they can hit and do a little damage.

Or when there is already a lotus and more follow. Does the duration carry over and add on? What about blocking compared to being actually hit. I'm really starting to love it, lotus is showing to be a great long-rang keep away move. As opposed to sword iris which only hits in one place, I love that they take time to fly to the opponent with active hit boxes giving Rachel more time to toss out more if she wanted.

Going to be sorting out the Main Match Ups post now to reduce the charcter limit before it hits 50,000 and make it tidy as possible. I've got some plans down in my head on how I can tackle the 50K limit wall. I believe hitting with multiple lotuses simply refreshes the duration and takes on the properties of the last one that hit. Lotus, the new air lobelias that knockback on hit, and lobelias bouncing off the wall in the corner make me excited to play zoning Rachel. I'm also glad that she finally has a decent grounded BnB again that doesn't require going into lv2 j.2c all the time now.

I'll be going back through the link dates to remove 20 from 2012/2013 to save on some post space. Done I've managed to reduce 6,000 characters roughly using the above methods. That should last a while for fitting all the video links into one main post. Soon I'll split it in half and use some of the post that is currently my presentable links guide to store future videos. I'm just wondering though, if CP is going to be around and about for a few years. Will one video thread cope with the volume of videos throughout that time? ... Also he manages to land lvl2 j.2c here... so weird ah. something similar to this happened in the rachel combo video. with b lotus rachel was able to get a level 3 j.2c from a super double jump and one wind. looks like the wind boost properties happen immediately after pressing d. pretty cool. and if l had to guesstimate, lotus makes wind effects about 1.5x stronger than non-lotus wind effects.
