Silmerion Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 The funniest one of all time, of course....I should probably know this, shouldn't I?:8/: In any case, detail this to me.
Neophos Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 also, pilebunker. Only true answer. P Dandy to Pilebunker is the MANLY WAY of opening a match.
4r5 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I start every match with thought. I lied. I always do tkEnsenga.
HolyOrderChipp Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I like to open with... THE FUNNIEST MINDGAME OF ALL TIME. Rashousen vs. Gold Burst? Rashousen vs. S Raeisageki? Taunt vs. IK mode?
Alzarath Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 It depends on who/what I'm up against, but generally: 6K, 5D, HS Exe Beast, or simply Backdash/IAD back. Occasionally Warrant or 2HS.
FlyMike Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Mostly 4S, but sometimes TK Ensenga, DB/KJ Transport, 3HS, or the infamous 6K.
Arvoyea Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 So...what's your secret? There really isn't one. It just depends who I am, and who I'm up against. Which is why I said I try my best not to get owned so I can't make a comeback.
ky0n01 Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 As far as i know the most stupid thing to do at the start of the match is to charge in >_>. The safest would be to back dash or stay neutral. Amd trading pokes at the start of the match is just like playing rock paper scissors.
Greyvangelist Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 That really depends on who I'm playing and how much we've been playing. If I know them really well and they know me really well, I try to accommodate that and either mix it up or try to counter what I think they will do at the start. If I haven't done it in a while I do 63214S with Axl at the start of the round. But the next round they might expect it and jump up at the start of the round to air throw me, but I instead wait for them to jump and nail them with 6K into an air combo.
novalance Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 danzai no totally kidding that's impossible possible if u lost the 1st round and the winner taunts -.- for me, superjump back j.d (SHOGUN!!!) backdash shuriken!

Again.
Hecatom Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 that depends of three factors: my mood, who im playing, against who im playing. the only constant, i never start the same
RTSD Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 select character - select stage - select music (optional)
Beowulf Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 select character - select stage - select music (optional) Yeah, I guess I also start by turning the game on too... But it's only because I don't have a slave to do it for me !
4r5 Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 But it's only because I don't have a slave to do it for me ! scrub
Beowulf Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 What ? Players should just concentrate on the match ! And nothing else ! ^^
Beowulf Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Well, you lose money for that... Anyway back to topic : Most Sol players use f.S or 5+HS to start their match, so I just 214+P with Axl ! On the contrary most Testaments and Axl use their catch attack at the beginning, so I just dash and throw... These two just don't attack that often, so even if they don't catch, they would mostly backdash or jump, so my dash isn't really threaten. All this is only valid on first round though ! As the next one they will be careful... To start a match safely, use instant air backdash... But then it can be punished by Jam's puffball or any anti-air attack, as you won't have any tension to FD...
