Well, yeah. I mean, she just hit rock bottom and tried to commit suicide.

Then again, damn near every character in this game has a fucked-up past of some sort.

Everyone in the cast has a shitty life(Except Tao, but she's irrelevant.), no wonder they're so batshit most of the time.

Her family has a shitty life, they're all dying because hunger, and how they were made(biological weapons with fast growing), Tao just cares about food.

Tao's too innocent to care tho, so its cool.....jesus christ.

Noel's is pretty good before she realizes the truth.

Not with chest insecurity(Especially having friends like Makoto and Tsubaki) and being a subordinate to Jin "dickhead" Kisaragi.

Platinum doesn't. Or more specifically, Luna doesn't (the little brat). It's Sena who is stuck with her and we already know about Trinity. Terumi and Relius don't have all that bad a life but they're villains so I dunno if you wanna count them. You could also argue the point that Valkenhayn doesn't since he's very happy being the butler to the Alucard family.

EDIT: Also Amane. That man is LOVING the shit outta his life.

fixed. But yeah, no one in the lineup has an easy life. Even Tao has to deal with Arakune eating baby kittens in her village. :v:

It's either you had a fucked-up past or you are fucked-up yourself.

Valkenhayn has witnessed some fucked-up stuff in the past being a Six Hero and all.

So true but Carl and Ragna always managed to stand out the most to me in terms of shitty lives.

Since Jin was being his dickish self (Even if he was being a badass) and left Tsubaki to be depressed and almost kill herself, I wonder if Rachel will free Hakumen and then he'll proceed to beat Jin down a notch for being a total douche and remind him who's really there for him. Because if he did, I would complete and totally forgive Hakumen's absence from this series. That's always been one of my favorite scenes from the game.

Also Ragna VS Hazama confirmed to be taking place, or atr least starting next episode. The moment of Nakamura choking on air is fast approaching.

Its because Relius and Terumi are personally responsible for their shitty lives, everyone else just had really bad luck.

Jin is a firm believer in tough love.

Damn, Tager got Off Screened. Like Madara vs. The Kages level of Off Screen.

God's in his heaven, all's right with the world.

Speaking of which, I laughed so hard when

the Imperator went all divine intervention on Tsubaki, promising her free buffs and whatnot.

Oh god, I can't look at that the scene the same again lol.

One of the things that did stick out for me is how cold (eh? ehhhh?) Jin was behaving towards Tsubaki. In the game he kept trying to make her stop for her own safety. In here he's pretty much saying she's lower then dirt.

Why did Tsubaki's clothes turn black, anyways? I thought it was because she switched divisions, but apparently it's Izayoi's schtick? I should get to reading that story mode...

And considering that Tager's first action in the Hazama fight was to 5D against Uroboros, I'm not surprised he ended up the way he did.

She switched divisions right before Jins eyes in CS? That's some wardrobe skill

But to be serious, it's Phantom that does it.

Ehhhhhh to be fair, he was trying to make her stop for her own safety before he went Unlimited. I guess the feeling of finally doing something of significance and not getting bodied for once stroked his ego a bit too much.

Now that I think about it, CS Jin was more caring towards Tsubaki, yet in the anime he like attacked her full power and didn't really bother trying to care for her after attacking her =_=;;

Clearly Jin is a Tsundere.

On a serious note, he was trying to tell her to back down and quit but Tsubaki just outright refused, so she kinda didn't give him much of a choice. The worst he did was just trap her in a block of ice and tell her to grow the fuck up. Imagine if it was Ragna or Noel he fought instead.
