If I recall correctly, Mori wrote the PS Novels, so he does have some experience in that field.

Anyway, this episode was great. Hazama wrecking Tager off-screen (1 5D = someone dead) but Jin doesn't need Yukianesa to do his ice attacks? How did he managed to attack Tsubaki before activating the Power of Order?

I really liked the episode as well! Tager got destroyed (which is always awesome) and Terumi got some quality trolling in there, ( which is even more awesome) and it looks like he'll at least encounter Ragna in the next episode. I can't wait.

I was wondering how Jin used those attacks too, I don't know how he did that, then again, the anime doesn't completely follow the games' story 100%, so maybe the characters can use powers and do things they normally couldn't as well? 'Tis a mystery.

No, he didn't. He wrote the basic outline for their stories but he didn't write them. Phase Shift novels were written by Mako Komao.

Well I'm guessing Jin specializes in ice ars(Oh god, that one syllable) and Yukikanesa simply amplifies those abilities. Kinda like how Ky can use lightning magic, but the Fuuraiken just amplifies them.

I think to about 3, show ends on Christmas Eve, so yeah...It'll be worth watching all that quality!

More like she whips off the cloak, they switch to Ragna vs Jin, then they pan back and Hazama is running his mouth while she's on the floor or something.

Definitely possible, obviously we'll only hear something about this after the NA Release.

I'd want to see they doing CP Season, especially after the improvement between the latest and the earliest episodes and the possibility of a larger budget.

I seriously doubt we'll see a CP season. Unless they re-use the cutscenes that are already in CP which I honestly think is the best decision.

For once, I'm not a fan of this new episode: it mostly covered Noel and Makoto fighting Hazama and losing miserably, while Jin and Ragna fight in the background (with some Yukikazes) and Rachel unleashing Hakumen and getting ambushed by Imperator. The episode ends with Ragna failing to turn on BB and learning that Hazama is the one who made it (sic!).

In the meantime, we get lots and lots of Terumi faces, Makoto regenerating her clothes and making the blood on her face disappear, Jakou being used on ground characters and generally being just a huge tentacle, and of course, Noel zoning. Oh, and Jubei apparently can teleport in a gust of wind, except that its range is not as great as you might think. Still good enough to make a dramatic exit, though.

It was okay in the Jin vs Ragna fight, but the Terumi fight had nothing to write home about.

That's so backwards, if you were going to give Jin & Ragna the better fight scenes then it would have made more sense to focus on that....dammit anime.

Watched the RAW as it was available. Well, things did go differently for Noel as during her own CS story mode, she didn't have Makoto with her, and they even did the Limiter release animation totally different from how it went in the game (for some reason the way the game's version went was better except the animation quality.). More like in this one Hazama didn't even talk about Bolverk's Limiter being in the way or anything (WTF?!)

So we pretty much are entering True End Story next episode.

And what the hell was up with the fail animation this episode?! O_o some of the scenes were stuck or something where the mouths weren't moving at all despite like Rachel and Izanami talking (or was it just the video I was watching...?) But even without that the animation went back being kind of terrible (but not as bad as Episode 7).

I wonder what happened to Makoto though o_o

It might still happen. But it would go against the mood they are trying to set of Tsubaki throwing everything away and falling into despair. Hakumen would remind her of what's really important.
