Few things I kind of predict for the next episode:

1. Tartar might come out (MAYBE). I wish, but I think it might be a possible since it's Lambda episode :p

2. Carl might appear and attack Ragna and Lambda might fight against Carl and Nirvana (Like the CS Lambda story route) and go out of control.

3. Lambda has more interaction with Ragna OwO

All I need from the fighting scenes is getting to see the moves out of the game, and they've been pretty cool about that lately. It'd also help if they were longer, but eh, we have plot to explain.

Well the fights are long as it is I think somewhat.

Of course the fight scenes aren't the most epic stuff since BBCP but since I can't see the QUALITY level everyone's talking about...

Can someone actually tell me what was a great fighting scene in other animes so I can compare better?

Sorry, but compared to most other fighting anime, this anime is somewhat lacking, and I blame the budget and the studio might be at fault too.

There's also the fact that most real fights don't last long; you get stabbed with a sword, or slammed into the ground from a great enough height, you're not getting back up.

Then again, most real fights don't involve reality-altering weapons and genetically engineered humans.

Well Blazblue at least justifies this instead of the characters just being "really tough" like most fighting anime do. Like, its believable that Ragna can take all of the punishment he gets because he has an explicit healing ability.

I really wish the Mote-megane/Spectacles of Eros appears in the anime, but from the titles of the future anime episodes, I highly doubt it unless the anime staff is going to release a blu-ray special.

I don't see why everyone seems to think the fight scenes suck, I like them, I think they're very nice. I know that there are mistakes made, such as parts or coloring being left out, or missing a small detail in clothing, but that's natural, not everything is perfect 100% of the time, and the staff could easily overlook small details like those when they're busy animating and putting the episode together.

I enjoy the fight scenes, I see no issues with them. I don't see this "bad quality" people have been complaining about. If you don't like the anime, then don't watch it.

I don't think they are bad. People are just comparing it to stuff like Fate/Zero probably.

I am sure Fate/Zero had more budget and better studio (well it's ufotable duh) if compared to Blazblue.

And the fight scenes are fine, but... they weren't done too well if maybe compared to Episode 1~3.

Are you saying that the the Ragna vs. Jin fight in episode 1 was better than the Noel vs. Tsubaki in episode 7?

Yes. Noel and Tsubaki's face, body and even the action was way bad compared to how actions went in Episode 1~2.

Some to point out are:

1. The art style seems totally different when compared to Episode 1 and 2.

2. Face looks weird (Faces drawn in Episode 1~3 were consistent, yet the faces drawn in this episode had switch of art style in several scenes. Also some eyes were drawn terribly)

3. Body and legs looks too fat and weird

4. Noel's action when she used her Type V: Assault Through was totally terrible and kind of blunt and slow.

I don't really see the issues, but OK?..... You also have to understand that the differences in Tsubaki's faces is also because she has a different expression in the screens you compared, in the first one, she appears to be listening/watching someone with a slightly worried-looking expression, but in the second screen, she is hearing Hazama/Terumi twist the truth, and telling her that her friend is her enemy basically, if you heard an explanation like that from Terumi's mouth, you'd look surprised too.

And, of course, the smaller you have to draw something, it usually means there's less room for small details, so that's why Noel's body may appear "fat" to you.

I didn't see any problems with any of their attacks.

Even if that was the case, the way they drew things is totally inconsistent. The art style between scenes are going around and around with different drawing styles where some of them look like they were really done by amateurs. And in case you didn't know, animators do draw in large papers.

Tones look different if 1st screenshot and 2nd screenshot is compared. Also the face in the 2nd screenshot look more chubby compared to the 1st screenshot.

And those are just examples. I got WAY MORE I can point out that went wrong with this episode when seeing animation quality.

Actually, these pictures look quite consistent.

The changes in Tsubaki's face are justified by the fact that in the first picture she was looking serious yet slightly worried, and in the second she was basically hallucinating because Hazama was trying to trick her into killing her best friend.

Noel was basically hunching in pain of having a book slammed into her solar plexus, so I'll give her a break.

The legs are fine, Noel may look fat when you look at her black socks that I forgot the name, but when you look at the scenes where the exposed part of her legs appear better you notice that this was a trick because of the color. And Tsubaki's legs look fat because her pants are baggy.

I still think you guys are exaggerating.

It is kinda annoying how in the same scene a character has lines of detail on them and the next shot they have nearly none.

Ragna's back gonna break for eternity 8D

Anyways, what in the world did I just see....

Also if the battle scenes in Episode 7 was epic as Episode 1~2 and also epic as the animated cutscenes from Chronophantasma (Ex. Kagura vs Azrael and Jin vs Izayoi), I wouldn't complain...

It's the same studio... yet... why....?

Well this was deliriously late (been too busy finally playing CP), but here's this week's gallery. Inclusions this time involve stylish Ragna, SUDDEN MASCULINITY, Relius' amazing disappearing mask, more slenderfaces, and of course EYES.

Every time a QUALITY Hazama face pops up, an angel gets its wings.

You…post on OT don't you.

How come Tsubaki is wearing that uniform in the anime that she only wore when being briefed by Hazama in the game and the actual robe and mask stuff shes supposed to wear doesn't appear in the anime at all.

Because that would require effort.

About as much as drawing her at all, don't you think?
