It's Ain, I'm wondering where Machaboo, my Ky God, is at... It's the cool thing to do, so why not? (I'll probably feel differently in a week) I thought you were linking to something Axl related lol. I doubt the the more complex will remain that way. Millia's combo system is completely changed, and these are combos she's been using for years. Tandem Top seems it has a clearly longer startup time, so I don't know what Millia players are supposed to use in it's place. But I feel her combo routes are the main issue at the moment. Venom is already coming along by just figuring out his new combo routes, and they haven't even properly learned his ball setups. So I have faith the cast will flesh out well. Hell, Ky players don't even use 3hs and DC's lol. Goes to show how much things are still left to be figured out in the game. Axl it is (he seems to play pretty similar to earlier iterations), until Baiken arrives, at least :p I think Millia might go up in the tiers with time, people still need to work out solid okizeme game, I guess. There better not be guard-break bullshit in mah GG. you are correct. my mistake. 点滅 means flashing, so it is just cranking the guard bar up high. 滅した is destroyed, so I misread it

I saw it one onne of the 2hr long videos in the Xrd video thread Difficulty isn't selectable by the player, it's a setting that the arcade staff have to set. There may be some arcades that raised it higher than normal but I think it's more just her cpu making different choices on fighting styles. She can either keep the bats on her and have long Justice/Mu sized sword normals, or send the bats away losing her long sword normals but gaining single and multi hitting sword attacks that attack from a distance and give her options for mixup while the sword is attacking. http://youtu.be/ClhM0nP9Ae4?t=1h49m3s Seems like the Ram Beam comes out stronger if you hit her during the charge? It looks the same in that video to me as when she does it without getting hit.
Appledash- Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 Earlier in that same video I see her fire the beam without getting hit (1 round before I think), and it's definitely different. When she is it, there's a large shockwave effect when it fires. It may just be visual though, I don't know if it's actually stronger. 9TNine Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 So I noticed this in a vid earlier and maybe it's old news or I'm just dumb, but I saw this red X over Sol's VV (I-No was doing 5P and got hit during the recovery, it wasn't Counterhit). I'm assuming they added it as an indicator as to when you whiff due to invincibility? Has anyone else noticed anything about it? -9

From what i understand it happens when you try to YRC,PRC whiffed moves like DP's or Zato's drills for example

Thought it was Ain but their win ratios don't match. And they played differently anyway. After Ain the only other Ky I could have thought of was Machbo. It could've been him but I don't know. JP people in the nico chat were mentioning Faith. But I'm sure they were just comparing the Ky to Faith and it wasn't actually him. Since he retired years ago. But if it was him then goddamn. I really feel like an idiot for not recording the matches though. Really should have. Abelcru got when he first showed up though. Don't know if he's going to upload the rest. This Ky player actually reminds me more of Machaboo, with his aggressive spacing. If he air grabbed a lot I would've said it was for sure Machaboo, since he throws people out of the air with his French aerial grabs. Any videos of ramletherl valentine? putting her name in the search bar of youtube gives nothing.... (I absolutely LOVE her design, maining her even if she´s bottom tier ) She's not playable (yet), she only appears as a last boss for certain characters, Sol and Ky. You'll have some time to wait before you see her becoming playable in my opinion.

Didn't think of that but that sounds much more likely! The marker didn't seem to match the location that I-No's punch whiffed, so I thought it'd be weird to have the indicator positioned so much over Sol. Thanks! -9

I watch Ain more. He bodied for like an hour straight until he lost to a Faust I think. He got off after that. He was doing a ton of interesting things in training mode also. For the most part he was dishing out that real man damage with Ky in the corner. 6D rush combos were too swag and did like 50%+
