I've had so many instances where I wanted to dive kick someone with Sol and realized I wasn't playing Xrd (yet). I remember trying to do Bang's double C nail 4 seal combos in CS2 that were possible only in CSE, lol.

Throwing random Fafnirs would be believable but Dive kicks when you never actually done it even once !?

In particular sometimes I expect the greatness of Venom's Xrd j.D to come out. I'm so ready for it.

Banoffee Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 That looks like a one-time gimmick to me. If she can't airdash or otherwise delay an attack after the YRC then you should be able to react to the backdash and OS block high then low. Depends entirely on how hard it is to see the backdash animation. It was pretty obvious in that one clip though maybe she can cancel it earlier.

king of heart Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks for explaining what's going on. Actually you can't even see the startup animation of the backdash. See 5:07 of the Kisha set. So as an alternative he can do a neutral YRC into a low hit.

Blade Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Totally false, no where is it said that it's a nickname. In context he just calls her "El". BUT, it can be assumed to be her nickname for now, until we find out if it IS her name or not. Just because one character calls another character a certain name doesn't mean it's really their name. And Sin tends to give other characters nicknames. He calls Sol "Old Man", his father "Ky" (totally rude and informal), among other things.
