The publisher has to meet the guidelines set by the ESRB when it comes to box art. I guess blood is ok, but boobs are not. ESRB is a bit more strict when it comes to sexual themes on box art, especially cleavage. Anyways, I'm the impatient type so I'll be getting the jpn version of Xrd. Maybe I can watch the story mode on youtube or something.

I've never played GG before but I'm in on this action for sure and I'm wondering can Burst be used offensively as well as defensively? I've been playing the latest BB to fill time before GGXRD and I love the overdrive mechanic . Goes GGXRD have something similar? Cheers!
NeoJET Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Main site refreshed, interesting how to see that AC story is not taken in consideration http://ggxrd.com/cs/story.html Actually Arc deleted all the story of XX series.lol XX series stories are all about Ino's time traveling, they put all of them into Ino's personal story, said she have saw the future of human's end many times, and she tried to change it, that's what heppened in XX series, but in the end, all she had done are meaningless. So time line goes back to GGX's ending and directly linked to Overture. It might be ok to remove XX series stories from the main story line.

An "offensive burst" is gold colored and maxes the Tension meter - GG doesn't really have Overdrives unless you want to count Sol's Dragon Install (which doesn't use the Burst meter).

Madcatz at the very least has said they 100% support it. It's obviously too late for Xrd PS4 now, we'll see in a few years or so.

If you want to be SUPER TECHNICAL supers in this game are named overdrive. Take that as you wish.

It's really just a love story that transitions from homoeroticism (Ky getting off Sol's nuts) and a complex actual love story (Ky deciding to smash Sol's daughter instead). The character that really had development in the XX series is Ky, not pushing other characters under the rug or anything. Daisuke really seems to be going all out for this game, he's going harder than any other GG game he's been invested in lol. Onto a discussion this thread actually warrants. So since I don't live in murica, based on what TB and others have said, my Xrd copy won't be shipping till the 26th and I won't be getting it till like the of January 8th just as amazon said. I thought amazon's dates of shipment and arrival often change over time? If that is the case, is there anywhere else anyone might know I can buy Xrd to get it on the 16th for Canada, if not, what other options I may have? Thanks.

If you're wanting to get the NA version on release day (Dec 16) then pre-order from a game shop, such as EBGames and pick it up from their store on launch. I pre-order games from them all the time and I always get them on launch day. Otherwise you're looking at a digital download for something faster.

Assuming we're talking about the localized copy and the physical disc, I think the only option Aksys has given us is videogameplus.ca. I've never ordered from them before so I wouldn't be able to comment on how quick they deliver. I definitely wouldn't order from Amazon but then again, I'm probably still very salty about having to wait a week and a half for my BBCS Extend Limited Edition. Though I should also say now that the chances that you'll be able to get a physical copy anywhere (Including America) on the day of release is sketchy based on BBCS Extend and BBCP's release. Aksys really drags their feet when it comes to shipping the physical copies from the warehouses. Sometimes, they don't even do it until the day of release. There's a good chance most people won't get it until Wednesday in America, Thursday in Canada unless you live in certain parts of Toronto but we'll see. Personally, I'm going digital this time around. I'm getting it for the PS4 so I didn't really see the point of getting a physical copy to begin with since if I wanted to play it outside my house, I'd probably have to bring my PS4 as well anyway, lol.
