Justice has only "died" once, and to be fair, she merely "ceased functioning" during her last encounter with Sol, the Sacred Order sealed her away and that was the end of that.

There'slike 5 possible scenarios running through my head right now but I'm keeping it to myself because I dont want to sound like an idiot.

So it looks like Leo is under the Senato's thumb?

That golden win quote lol. I also think that they might have special quotes against each other.

Perhaps we should stray off the shipping topic besides already confirmed couples, thou. It's juat speculation and this shit has a tendency to get ugly.

When was shipping about confirmed couples anyway?  :keke:

I don't ship though. The Leo character is interesting for me, and we would probably see the 3rd king in the future.

Pretty sure that the mention of "Justice's silhouette" doesn't mean she's going to return. If someone wants to speculate, be my guest, just don't quote that as any sort of confirmation.

Yeah I guess.

On another note, it seems that some fans are still in rage because the series' best girl, Dizzy and the best trap, Bridget aren't making an appearance :(

Really why...? XD;;

Posted

Because the story doesn't need them right now. You don't write a good story by filling it with everything you can, you do it by making it as short as possible and then cutting 10%.

Everyone; no one has more than 1 intro/outro (except Sol, thanks to Dragon Install) but she doesn't always "propose" to a character, if I recall she asks May something to the effect to be introduced to good, marriage material men.

Posted

Obviously she wouldn't go yuri route XD;;

Obviously? Maybe she's just not interested in kids.

...Are we really discussing this?

I'm of the opinion that Justice isn't actually Justice.  If you consider the idea that the Valentines are based on "Aria" then I don't think it's a stretch for one of them to imitate Justice.

Posted

I see no reason for Justice to not be [properly] re-introduced into the story, after all she is a huge component of Guilty Gear's core narrative; the Gears and the [still not fully explored] trinity relationship of Sol, The Man, and Aria. Of course a delusional clone is not off the table, but I just think it would really cheapen the impact of a proper Justice reveal.

Also Bedman seems like an interesting fellow, especially as we get more tiny glimpses into his involvements; Crow was a genuinely bad character that only existed for the deus ex machina [and totally unnecessary] reason of explaining why Justice[-bots] were roaming around in AC+'s [still pretty terrible and more or less unreferenced] story.

Posted

You're thinking of Raven, who is actually a cool and relevant character lol. Crow was just some left field, crappy addition for AC+'s story.

Posted

Crow is more interesting character than someone like Baiken. His affiliation with P.W.A.B and betrayal (speculative) of the japanese are more interesting themes than mere revenge against That Man.

Posted

There's nothing interesting about Crow because he is an obvious last minute and poorly thought out insert, especially prevalent at the effort to try and retcon him hard into the past narrative (oh hey guys, I might be Japanese, and I might have been a brother student of Johnny's master la-li-ho~). He was bland and 1-dimensional and served no real purpose OTHER than making up an unnecessary bs excuse to insert [equally crappy] Justice copies into the narrative, and even then he didn't do ANYTHING of significant value. He is just a poorly conceived character that I really have no interest in seeing ever again [and from the looks of it, Team Red agrees so far].

I'm not sure why you brought up Baiken . . .

In fact, as I said before AC's story itself was quite boring and many things that were introduced didn't have any sense at all, but the connection (?) between Crow and the Japanese race, and also being the one who created the seal that sealed Justice, are one of the few things still interesting in AC's story,

There are a lot of "missing links" still to be cover up in GG's world, but saying that Crow is a bad character just because we don't know much of him yet is not enough reason, I mean, don't get me wrong though, I don't really like Chipp for example and it seems like everyone loves him, but that can change depending on how he will be in Xrd this time around, this applies not only for someone who doesn't like the character, but also from people of the other side. I, at the very least, didn't like some characters at first and the other way around, generally speaking.

And anyway, wasn't supposed to be the last game back then? That would explain some shit things like I-No having a bad ending one way or another, or Slayer returning to his own world and never being able to return to the human world... Until Xrd.

I'm not sure why you brought up Baiken . . .

Because your favourite character perfectly fits your description of Crow. She is insignificant in story modes of all GG games, she has bland and 1-dimensional personality and there is not much to say about her. Yet only Crow gets all criticism. That's unjust. He is the only memorable element of AC+ yawn story and has enough potential to become more interesting character in the future, in my opinion (yes, opinion). Yes, his chances to appear are very small but every character has the right to shine one day.
