[P4AU] Aigis Loketest Speculation and Discussion

So, P4C was announced today with a loketest starting today. If anybody gets any info regarding possible Aigis changes during the Loketest please post it in here and I'll start making a list in the OP.

P4C Compiled Changelist

Buffs

- Air radical cannon added

- Command air dash added (air boost)

- New move: 2C - AA attack, Fatal Counters

- Aerial Command Grab Super

- Boosting/backdashing in Orgia consume less gauge now.

Nerfs

- Meterless double megido not possible (proration nerf)

- j.C and j.2B have increased start-up (22B > j.C may no longer be possible)

- C Megido more negative on block

- 22B has increased recovery.

Changes

- Autocombo changed: Second hit is a "flying knee" that makes Aigis airborne.

- Hover is now 2A+C instead of holding 8 in the air

- SB Goddess Shield: Consumes 75 SP and makes Athena come back across for a second pass ( :v: )

- Can walk while in Orgia Mode

Aigis

New command grab super in the air, ‘Orion’. Probably what the Ultimax suplex nonsense is based off of.

Shadow mode overheat is the same duration as usual (one player’s guess)

とりあえず通常時のコンボが軒並みできなくなってるから立ち回りでオルギアにする場面が増えそう

5AA wall bounce possible, didn’t seem like you could do anything tho because it has landing recovery (previous loketest allowed for hover canceling for good combos, unknown currently)

•possible to do very close mode change combos

•DSpear Combo - JB、足払い始動両方可能

•able to orgia boost twice

• Can only air roll in orgia, takes meter

- 2C untech time increased, no jump cancel

- JC low height hits similar to current version? (Source was unsure, translation might be shakey) Second hit startup slower (Source was unsure)

- currently change combos can only be done close, 5A>5B>5C>2C>B Change>JC and whatnot

- new move J2C, does ground 5C in the air

AA jc JA JB J2B 2B 5B 2C 22b D Megido (number of hits on j.a seems to depend on the character, was annoying/maybe not stable?)

j.b hover j.b fuzzy may be a thing

Air roll uses an air action and orgia

Can cancel moves into air roll (confirmed with j.b and 5aa on guard)

2C > 2b, 2C > 5B, 2C > sweep, 2C > 5C confirmed

2c is not a crouch confirm

2C is a fatal counter starter, if fatal coutner they cannot tech until they land

5aa (tiger knee) had landing recovery, is now removed

Can’t do double megido without meter

j.C second hit startup increased?

5b startup increased? (logic from hover j.c > 5B became easy to combo)

boost j.b boost j.b comboed on crouch

roll range may have increased?

spear is fatal recovery

can boost out of hop animation

FC combos will likely give change and SB megido

5aa jump cancel on block

SB spear and C spear still +

DP startup is now slower.

MIssiles may have projectile invuln now

Damn double megido not even possible? Hmm.

Air radical sounds cool though. I'd like to see where they take her, especially any new moves / her new super / etc

Ahem... that aside, this looks to be quite interesting. I wonder what else they may have added and/or taken away?

Yeah, guys have been talking about air radical cannon probably being a new combo path, so I wann see it too. So far(if this is all good info) I'm not really sure in what direction thy're taking her. Having a useful 2C at least sounds nice, and what is going on with an air super command grab?

I'm relying on info I get from around btw, so if anybody can double check something please do. I've also been asleep and will probably get tied up a bunch today so if I miss anything please share >_<

Added a block of stuff from the evernote to the OP, check it out. If anybody can get a better translation go for it.

I'll make a more organized list when we stop receiving new info >.<

What peaks my interests is this so called Command Grab(?) we have in mid-air. Combined with our Orgia dash, it should prove quite useful. :yaaay:

Speaking of which, is it a Special or a Super?

It's a super. I think it's called Orion or something.

Edit: The change list also mentions a "moving command grab" that doesn't require meter though. Guess she's got both.

that might have been a TL error on my part. anne brought something to my attention and i realized i missed the kanji for super when something stunedge posted described the command grab lol. as far as I know it's some sort of air super cmd grab. it also may or may not fatal, as I heard she can do a FC grab in the air checking bbses-could just be her air grab working like her ground grab now.

Hey guys, there's some more info coming from some BBSes I'm trying to get confirmed real quick. As far as the command grab thing goes, that was pulled from the evernote by Stunedge. Problem is, I just checked it and the description of it on there has been changed again.

Assuming this means 66 to boost now...? Curious.

That'd already been confirmed, yeah. boost is now 66, but you can boost cancel normals just like you would ATM instead of manually inputting.

walking in orgia is good. especially that we have the new 2c.

I like it too. Was just looking through a few things and hadn't seen that, even though I was 90% sure it was the case. The input is more fun than just holding it, and walking is really nice.

Being able to walk while in orgia is going to allow aigis to not accidently waste orgia by boosting on accident when blocking crossups. With the nerf to jC you could probably still be able to do 22b>j.a?

i think 22b combos still exist but 22b has more recovery now as well, so it depends on the leadin hitstun/juggle. reading through posts, some stuff that didn't get posted yet that i translated they said they were using 22AB in dial A to switch, though dial A gave 25 meter by that point anyway so it worked out.

It never fails to amaze me how easymode they make inputs in this game

There's a couple more things I'm trying to get a bit more confirmation on before posting it up. Most notably 5AA is now a knee kick that makes Aigis airborne, C Megido is more negative on block, 22B having more recovery, and somebody mentioned SB Megido causing a groundbounce. A lot of the JP players are really unclear about her new tools and what to actually do with them.

There hasn't been a lot of Aigis info out especially clear stuff, so confirming things has been rough. Even in Stunedge's round up there wasn't anymore Aigis.
