susano Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 "Oops he blocked my drive overhead, and it's -2. That's ok though, there's delay. 5A go!" -99% of Azraels online in a less than 4 bars match. It makes me a sad panda. :|
StylisH Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 The 'high mobility' part of Rachel is not what makes Rachel suffering to play in lag. It's the tightness of the confirms. it's the combos that require you to visually react to something which isn't REAL in lag. High mobility part? no... I don't think azrael combos require you to visually react to stuff, just press buttons at the same timing which will work in lag or not. to the degree azraels actually try to confirm is something else.. chars with weak mixup benefit more from lag. chars with borderline seeable mixup benefit more from lag.. chars that like throws benefit more from lag... Ehhhhhhhhhhh Level 2 j2C how I hate you
StylisH Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 what? In Extend, she had combos that involved jC>j.c>j2D>j2C which were almost useless in lag. Idk if she still has them in CP but that's one reason I don't sub Rachel. And forget about even trying CH 6B
Errol Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Oh. Yeah those are still there. I think they are more on the order of just technically difficult than unusable in lag, now at least. Some of the combos people wanted to use in EX were very specific about the height at which the j2C hit. in CP I am mostly content to hit a 5cc afterwards or a BBL so it's not as bad. plus it's not bnb but a situational confirm now.
Blade Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Here's a map of my life and why I hate not owning a car or money to LEAVE THIS STATE:
D.R.F. Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Guilty gear land why is that so funny lol. Hey man just gotta get that paper
StylisH Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Well thats good to know. On a side note, Guilty Gear land is GDLK
Grimsley-San Posted June 20, 2014 Author Posted June 20, 2014 When people mash DP all day. >_> *ahem* Blaise_12 *ahem* *adds him to Bad Player list because I can*
Airk Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Okay, so, Arc Sys has apparently made a game that has a chat system, but no functionality to mute jackasses? Good one guys.
BloodWolF Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 If I am in the lobby and someone is being an ass to people or using the "I'm a god/fuck you and your K-mart connection" option select, I just ignore them and turn off the chat for a bit. I see it as the same as walking into an arcade and there's that fat, hygiene-deficient kid who's trash talking everyone there for a good time over his CoD/Halo skills when his opponents are just there to have fun. Only this time, I can turn it off. I just close the whole chat. I also won't sit and play the person regardless of skill level, connection, or needed MU experience. They're a hindrance to the community and not worth the time of anyone online. My only hope is that they get bored of the game and move on. If there is a connection issue, you can easily ask where the person is located or try to find the source together..as it does affect both parties. If you lost and it WAS due to lag, simply say your "ggs" and move on to a better connection opponent. Being an irritating child online benefits no one and won't help solve any connection issues. /petpeave off
Errol Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 but bloodwolf. what do you do if someone wants to play you from 600 miles away and won't take no for an answer?
Airk Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Sadly, yeah, turning off chat doesn't mean that chat messages don't display in their speech bubbles. And, you know, maybe there was someone I was talking to, also. :P
BloodWolF Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 That's true Airk, it doesn't get rid of the speech bubbles. I don't talk to many people in the speech bubbles as they make it difficult to have a conversation. I just use the "players met" (or friends list for that matter) and go through PSN. haha Errol. Just ignore him. He'll give it up eventually...*cough*...and by "him", I obviously mean "them" as in anyone challenging you..not a specific person..>.>
susano Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Sure is PhantomEmperor in here. There's something mentally wrong with that kid. I'm with Airk on the mute system. His trolling is beyond sad at this point.
Airk Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Yup, that'd be the person I'd like to ignore. It's not that I 'talk' to anyone in speech bubbles, but if that clown is near where I am, his stupid speech pops up on screen regardless of whether chat is open or not.
BloodWolF Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I've never experienced this person. I guess not being able to play much recently has its good sides.
Ventus Tatshima Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I can't stand phantomEmperor or that ANNOYING brat shino. ugh
susano Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Yup, that'd be the person I'd like to ignore. It's not that I 'talk' to anyone in speech bubbles, but if that clown is near where I am, his stupid speech pops up on screen regardless of whether chat is open or not. He's been harassing me too as well. Ignoring him isn't easy.
TeeJay Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 After 2 close 3 round matches and comments: Let's just say I sent someone PSN messages saying chill which they kind of did. But i think they're dead serious. t'was like "I can't take this anymore. I've been dealing with this crap for years." "My def is great because I don't use burst, burst sucks etc." (some paraphrasing). I'm like, "Yo, dawg, chill. It's just a game. Some people are learning or just unwinding." There's that other guy who is like, I won't play such and such character. No Izayois but denies Tsubaki. "Denied." X (3 connection made me sad though it's like 0-3 by the minute). "You're not gonna let me play. Your just gonna put me in the corner and combo me etc"-- not to me. On the contrary, if my play-styles have ever ignored anyone on PSN, my bad. I've been dealing with some health issues so I can't practice too much as well as even play-- been sacrificing pain for some games. Plus, I am pretty mediocre/sub-mediocre at fighting games in general-- I read gaps wrong all day and rely on scrambling too much. I get everything from you're a good tsubaki (I shutdown those lies everytime :P) or have potential to omg you're a scrub lol. Don't got the juice.
NecroTheReaper Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 It makes me feel kinda claustrophobic when like 5 people crowd around one terminal-thing. There's 32 seats, and I'm claiming this one as mine. Dont expect me to move before I'm done xP
