>Playing any fighting game against a random guy

>The guy wins one match

>immediately switches to your character

Fuck. Off.

Which is why I like playing characters that no one else usually has interest in or just doesn't know how to play.  I agree though, those guys need to piss off.

Beat them back and then switch to a low tier and humiliate them.  : D

Technically speaking Mirrors are the best way to learn your character, especially if the other guy is better at your character than you are.

Annoying or not, it's a good lesson to learn.

You might even pick up on stuff you didn't know you could do before, like I did the other day with Bedman and Task A' Okizeme or 6H Oki.

Different players have different styles, even if it's the same character.

Any time I get my butt whupped, I have to stay positive and say "I'm learning stuff".

I'm not gonna lie, ive done this multiple times before. I don't choose the same char after a win to piss ppl off though (well I do), but I do it to amp them up and show me how good they really are at the same time im just stooping down to their level or hope they are taking notes on how to use them a bit better. but if none of it works, I just pit another weaker charater I kno.

Would it be disrespectful if the other person was using one of their subs, then switched to their main (your character) after they beat you? And then they stomped the shit out of you? Would that be disrespectful?

Not really, but coincidences like this are really cruel.

It shouldn't. why wouldn't they pick their main? they are just showing how good they really are.

No, what's disrespectful is when the other guy has "Random Select" enabled and every character RNG picks for them they're good at and the one character they're not AS good at still beats you in a big way!

^This happened to me, though to be perfectly honest I kinda wish I could know everyone as well as I used to, though I will probably never learn Millia since her IAD stuff is way too hard.

Still, anyone who can pick ANY character in the roster and be good with them is either a genius, a monster, or a player who plays GG or BB (or anyother fighting game) wayyy too much!

Who gives a fuck jesus christ. Get good, beat the mother fucker and move on with your life

Couldn't agree more. If you want to win you are going to have to put some more elbow grease into it. If you think you've tried your hardest, you haven't. It's one thing to lose to one or several characters but losing to the whole roster means you need to evaluate your plan. No reason that should happen to anyone who didn't just pick up the game 10 minutes ago.

Evaluate.

I think the point they're trying to make is that it's kind of obnoxious, but then again, that's the FGC for you.....

Beat by the whole roster though? I mean, damn. At what point do you think it's not them being a dick? I mean even if they were...

I see your point icekin, I read it earlier. One match of this is patronizing. But... The whole roster? I'm not even worrying about this person's questionable personality anymore. Training mode straightaway.

At least fucking watch your matches. Maybe that has your answer. You'll be surprised at all the embarrassing blunders you can make in match. Or just your general inactivity in neutral and how your opponent is running circles around you. The answer is there

Wait what? Hold on, I'm not involved in what Blade brought up. That's an entirely different thing.

I agree on one thing: getting gangbanged by the entire cast warrants at least 2-3 weeks in the lab

Fuck. Off.

>Playing any fighting game against a random guy

>You haven't even spent much time practicing optimal combos and tech in training mode but go online anyways because lol fundamentals and simple BnBs

>The guy wins one match

>immediately switches to your character

>shows off tech and combos

>steal them and beat him every match after

feels good man.

I guess I must be a dick then because unless I'm playing tournament matches or explicitly trying to practice my char or an MU I switch around a lot and goof off with characters I blatantly don't know how to use to see how much my fundamentals and basic knowledge take me.

Spoiler: Not very far.

i wonder if thats why everyone hates playing me. Unless its a tourney setting or a money match, i have one purpose. Style on you as hard as possible, even at the cost of the match. I will go for some gimmick routes that lose 2K damage just to look cool.

Do people really hate on you for doing that? I get amazed whenever someone pulls off a CMV tier combo on me online.

Then again, I do remember a few randoms avoiding me back in CSE because "i don't want to be a part in your combo video" when I was just doing regular BnBs. ; ;

I don't hate playing you. I find your reactions amusing.
