(She does govern death after all) Despite Ragna having a Life Link and all, so many characters are saying they can kill Ragna for good despite him having a Life Link. Are they just forgetting it about it, do they have the method to kill him while bypassing Life Link (This excludes Hakumen and Tsubaki as they actually can bypass/negate Life Link). I am not even sure if Jin knows about it (Can power of order even negate Life Link?). For one thing, the only time Ragna's Life Link was mentioned in the open was like in CS by Terumi, and by Nu herself in CP Episode 18, and the truth is that Ragna never mentioned about it himself regarding his Life Link with Nu. Zedar already answered me regarding this long time ago, but... I seriously wonder how and when Ragna and Nu even got a Life Link together... O_o; It's not mentioned anywhere in official sources apparently so I am guessing only Mori knows... The Life-link between Nu and Ragna should be ineffective during CS since it works by the System Observing both Ragna and Nu and watching their Life and Death values. But Nu is in the Boundary (outside the system's "vision") only Ragna's value should be seen. Also the Life-link between Nu and Ragna was mentioned in CT, only never by the name (Nu said that as long as Ragna is alive she can't die and the same for Ragna). And yeah, when did Ragna get his Life-link with Nu. When he was in the lab? When he put on the Grimoire? From some paradox that he was once a Black Beast in the past with Nu? The thing is though, the common knowledge about Life Link is that the ones who share it needs to get killed at the exact same time or neither of them can die O_o (It's like having to press 2 switches at once instead of pressing 1 by 1) Hakumen definitely can kill Ragna (Hell he was the one who finished off Ragna (Black Beast) during the Dark War). Time Killer can negate Life Link as the time of the victim is totally killed to 0 milliseconds where he/she becomes totally unable to exist at all where regeneration and such is impossible. Well... as the name implies, I am sure Immortal Breaker is pretty much for killing Immortals... Would be weird if it can't kill every type of Immortals when it is called "Immortal Breaker". Izanami is excluded from this though as she is death itself so she is already "dead". Although Ragna never died (Excluding Bad Ends), if you do consider the Life Link he has, he can somewhat fall under the category of Immortal I guess... While both must die at the same time, it's not known the time between the death it has to be (seconds? Minutes? Hours?). Hakumen wasn't the only one to kill the Black Beast during the Dark War (he tried to do it on his own but failed...). The reason the Black Beast was killed was because 1, they teleporedt it to the place were there is a "spring" of anit-bodies that neutralize seithr to weaken it. 2, the Six heroes plus many people from the magic Guild used Ars Armagus on it to kill the body. 3, Ragna together with Celica(who slowed down the time inside of it like in CP) killed the Heart(Nu) inside of it. Immortal Breaker isn't called like that because it kills Immortals, it's because you can kill observers(immortals) with it. Normally when you kill a observer, the observer can simply observe themselves as alive and so they won't die. But what the Immortal Breaker does is that it forces the observer to observe themselves as dead.

Rachel said in CP that she is on no one's side, she likely wants to protect Amaterasu and fulfill her wish. Rachel is likely counting on Ragna to do it but she can't risk something happening to Amaterasu so she is putting on several safety nets(Hakumen, Jin, Tsubaki).

What Ragna's beast form is that his grimoire goes berserk, I doubt that any one can control it. At that moment Izanami tried to use Take-mikazuchi to kill Amaterasu. All that Ragna's beast form would do is to jump on Take-Mikazuchi and fight it. And that wouldn't be in Izanami's interest at that moment.

I was hoping that the little short "Rose Red" story in the CP Materials Collection would shed some more light on her past or the reasons she does the things she does. But no such luck. Wishful thinking that they might release one more novel or something that can answer all questions leading up to BB4, fingers crossed.
