I know his title is or could be if he so chooses "Guardian of the Azure" but that would mean that his duty is to protect Noel right? She did inherit the true Azure. At least that's what I always figured anyway. Unless there is some deeper meaning to it. Probably a deeper meaning. I don't think it is simple as protecting Amaterasu or Noel. I don't think Guardian of the Amaterasu Unit has to do with the main concept of Guardian of the Azure much. It probably has to do with something much more bigger.

At the core of everything there is the "Azure". And around the Azure there is the space known as the "Boundary". And on the outside of the Boundary there are many worlds. The Blazblue/Xblaze world is only ONE of them. To protect the Azure is the same as to protect all of the Worlds. The scale isn't the same at all...

I think that the future she should have was not "stepping into the stage" or "interfering with the actors" or something like that; like sticking to your duty. It's just a hunch though.

I wouldn't go that far. I would say it is more like saving the worlds that were bound for destruction.

I still think the whole story that Mei told isn't the real truth of the events. After all the story is over Thousands of years old and it's meant to inspire the Amanohokosaka to protect Wadatsumi. The only thing I can surely believe in is: 1, she could talk with the Azure. 2, she summoned the Black Beast. 3, She and the Black Beast went into the Boundary.

Take a look. Azrael: "Master? Ah, you mean that vampire? I might need to apologize...For eating a vampire. But...even though "that" looked like a little girl..."it" was...quite fine. Valkenhayn: Calling my master "that"!? There are limits to how rude you can be! It seems like you don't want to keep your life. What exactly are they talking about here? I can't figure it out. Anyone know?

Though your speculations are incredibly unlikely.
