Vice versa with me keep using hungry coils instead of venom sword and I occasionally use bloody fangs when I want to high jump after rising fang. (D-pad)

Is anyone else having problems with DP inputs and 236 inputs? The latter keeps overlapping the former and screws up all the combos.

I've never had an issue like this playing past versions.

I usually have this problem when playing on pad. Are you playing on stick or pad?

The only game I've ever had problems doing DPs is Marvel 3, is it anything on that level?

Pad. But as I said, it had never been a huge issue in CSEX or other games.

Yeah the system seems a lot more finicky. I sometimes do super jumps while trying to combo into Az's TCL....dang I need work.

Inputs for DPS are more strict this time around it seems like.

I was having this problem last night on stream and attributed it to my converter (or more specifically, the differences in thresholds between 360/PS3 analog sticks). But as it would turn out, yes, if you do a 6236 input in BBCP, it will always opt to register the 236 over the 623 (assuming there are two specials like that that correspond with the same button, of course). It definitely wasn't like this in previous iterations, so it'll take some accidental Dead Spikes and real conscious efforts to get used to.

Anyone know how to unlock Unlimited Characters in the Gallery? They appear as locked in my Gallery Mode.

if it's like extend you need to be a certain level.

unless you buy them...then unlock them XD

To measure the awesomeness of Terumi, you have to go online and test how long it takes for you to get a ragequit when you combo into Astral off of a normal.

BTW he is 11 on that scale.

I haven't really been following Terumi, but why is he in need of a nerf already?

Only thing I've really seen of him so far is his everything > astral combos.

i dont really think he is overpowered maybe a few of his damage tables can be lowered but i feel like hes fine where he is a few tweaks and hes golden

His astral is the only thing that obviously needs a nerf. Aside from that I don't think he's broken, but since I haven't analyzed him properly and am talking about what I've seen from online matches, my opinion could be wrong.

Terumi isn't incredibly high tier, and despite how easy it is to combo into his Astral, the opponent needs to be on the ground for it to work (like Jin's. don't know if it's unblockable or not) Granted this is just my opinion but I would put him around mid because of lack of a normal overhead, his normals that are JC push him a fair bit away and sort of out of where he wants to be, and lack of meterless reversal. Damage wise though, he can easily rival Ragna in that department. If someone finds something that absolutely makes him broken though, I'd love to see it.

Dunno, Terumi being the king of trolls having legit astral combos that are actually optimal seems kinda fitting. I mean, if he has 100 meter he should be able to cause 35% damage to you anyhow so it's not like it unbalances stuff. If anything it just makes him a little on the easy side.

Besides, have you seen how easy it is to combo into Azrael's astral? It's almost patently ridiculous.

That's what I was thinking. The ability to combo into astral doesn't mean much when your opponent has to be of a certain amount of health to use it. I mean, I know he can get 100 meter easy, but are you really gonna get 3 or 4k+ before ending with an AH?

Dude can 5A>Astral, that is as easy as it gets lol. About Terumi's balance, he has low health and no meterless reversal so he needs to be a pain in the ass otherwise he's crap.

The only thing that separates the two is that Azrael doesn't build meter quite as easily. Still though, that doesn't mean Terumi's Astral is the issue, he could just kill you without his astral by just using the meter the astral needs and doing combos with DDs instead. The issue is the meter gain lol.
