OmnixTSC Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Also, Tao and Valk not in the S tier list? Is the tier maker on drugs? That whole list is making me question the person who posted it. I'm so confused right now. How can anybody think this is accurate? Also, I don't see how Haku's meter gain getting nerfed correlates to Azrael doing a better job at Hakumen's game than Haku himself. Hakumen still has derp burst damage, you just have to conserve your meter more effectively. Azrael also doesn't have a better neutral game, so...
Verimeloni Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 America isn't ready for Mu-12 underboobs or Celica thighs yet. But I digress. Is the in-game font comic sans (or similar) like in CT? Please tell me it isn't, I don't have the courage to search for any screenshots either.
Sourenga Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Is the in-game font comic sans (or similar) like in CT? Please tell me it isn't, I don't have the courage to search for any screenshots either. I haven't played CS or CT in a while so I'm not totally sure, but I think it still is the same font. Here's a simple screenshot from the arcade mode. Oh, and ArcSys seems to have posted a new promo of CP's Vita version: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/1395812949
mAceOfHearts Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 That Tier list seems pretty inaccurate. I very highly doubt Azrael will ever be a "better Hakumen". Their playstyles have barely anything in common. And Tao and Valk not S-tier? Come on.
Verimeloni Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Only way Azrael would be S-tier is to make BHS fully invul after superflash, give Valiant GP from frame 1 and make his backdash jump-cancelable, but I digress.
D.R.F. Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Tbh I doubt he needs that much to be S tier lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
beanwich Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 The North America limited edition box looks terrible; I guess a waist and thighs are just too much to handle, they must have been like: "Good god! A thigh! And is that a waist I see? Censor them now before someone sees!" I hate censorship. I don't even want to think about what a train wreck of a translation is in there. I still have horrifying flash-backs about BBCSE. Also, is anyone else confused as to why they always change the way the title is spelled? It's spelled "BLAZBLUE CHRONOPHANTASMA", not BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, they've done it like this in past games in the series too, most notably in BBCSE. I just don't understand translating anymore.
D.R.F. Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I like the limited edition, real nice, would rather have jp limited version tho. Translations to me come and go Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
Rishtopher Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 That whole list is making me question the person who posted it. I'm so confused right now. How can anybody think this is accurate? I just want to know where Relius goes... The North America limited edition box looks terrible; I guess a waist and thighs are just too much to handle, they must have been like: "Good god! A thigh! And is that a waist I see? Censor them now before someone sees!" I hate censorship. I honestly couldn't tell the JP and NA versions apart for a bit while I was looking at them side-by-side. Does that stuff really matter though? Might be a silly question, but who actually takes these waifu covers seriously? I'd have preferred the regular cover, but I wanted those collectibles.
D.R.F. Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I like the waifu cover more tbh, but that's just because I don't have to see ragna and jin in front(coming from a ragna main) and celica sells that over for me♥ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
NeoStrayCat Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah, but if its anything to knock on wood at, the US release of the LE doesn't even have the LE's cover art, just the standard. Just like previous US releases. >_> But eh, liking what the LE has anyways though! :3
Rishtopher Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 the US release of the LE doesn't even have the LE's cover art, just the standard. Just like previous US releases. >_> [pic] Oh, I think I got confused here. I thought the pic that Ragnarok posted was a comparison between the NA and JP covers. If we still get the regular boxart despite ordering the LE, I don't mind. Sorry, waifu fans. If only they had reversible covers.
NeoStrayCat Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah, if they only have, and your ava pic and quote line does give me the feels now like this. >_>
thiz Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Have been inactive for about 2 months now, is there any console release window for 1.1?
Luminos564 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 The North America limited edition box looks terrible; I guess a waist and thighs are just too much to handle, they must have been like: "Good god! A thigh! And is that a waist I see? Censor them now before someone sees!" I hate censorship. Well, the LE Box DOES show the original waifu image in the artbook, making me question as to why bother censoring the box itself in the first place. But oh well, at least the zoomed in faces are nice to look at. But only on Celica and Noel. I seriously doubt any official art from Rachel will have her show any expression beyond a resounding "meh". I don't even want to think about what a train wreck of a translation is in there. I still have horrifying flash-backs about BBCSE. Not as bad. At least you don't have random gibberish or characters suddenly going into Japanese from English during story mode. Izayoi's AH having an audio-skip is grating but manageable. Another thing I also noticed, when using tutorial section BGMs, Sector 7 is called "section7" even though it is spelled correctly everywhere else. Arcade mode also has issues (reportedly) but nothing too major. Also, is anyone else confused as to why they always change the way the title is spelled? It's spelled "BLAZBLUE CHRONOPHANTASMA", not BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, they've done it like this in past games in the series too, most notably in BBCSE. Maybe they split it for the sake of the retailers or something. At least they keep it correct in the logo. Have been inactive for about 2 months now, is there any console release window for 1.1? I thought it was supposed to be after the Vita version is released (so sometime during the summer). But I might be wrong on that. Arcade already got it however.
Tokkan Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Another thing I also noticed, when using tutorial section BGMs, Sector 7 is called "section7" even though it is spelled correctly everywhere else. It's like that in the original Japanese version, too. With regards the Tutorials, in the explanation of Stylish the voices say "Normal" but the text says "Medium" for the N button.
beanwich Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 While I do think it would be nice to see the game in English, I prefer playing the original JP version for several reasons. For instance, I know that nothing will have been changed, and that I'm getting the real thing, plus, I really don't like how they keep censoring the boxes, it's ridiculous. I also really think the translation and dub was just awful, I know there's the option to change the voices to Japanese, but I decided to put my game in Japanese text as well because I didn't think the translations were good, and for authenticity. So after playing English version BBCSE, I thought: "Man, first chance I get, I want to get my next BB game imported". So I was able to get BBCP imported, and never regretted it once. I'm not trying to sound like a ranting idiot here, I just wanted to point out a few thing I don't understand about the "translations".
NeoStrayCat Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah, well, anyways, I was lurking for BB stuff lately, when I see that the HK PSN store actually has the English Full Game of BB:CP (Labeled as "English/Chinese/Korean Ver."), and even all its DLC day 1, not only that, but they also include the Dengeki PS and Famitsu colors entirely Free, that and the file size for the whole game is about 10.2 GB - 11GB. So yeah, like I said, I find it silly that the Digital release and its DLC comes on 4/1 for the US store, when the HK store has it all on its US release date. >_>

I didn't realize the game was so large, but I guess some of that would be the DLC.
NeoStrayCat Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Yeah, not surprising at all, of course though, there's nothing for the Old BB stuff (Ex: Alter Memory LE stuff for stages/themes) yet, maybe later as purchasable/free/etc. down the line probably like the Mag. colors.
TagerTime Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Yeah, well, anyways, I was lurking for BB stuff lately, when I see that the HK PSN store actually has the English Full Game of BB:CP (Labeled as "English/Chinese/Korean Ver."), and even all its DLC day 1, not only that, but they also include the Dengeki PS and Famitsu colors entirely Free, that and the file size for the whole game is about 10.2 GB - 11GB. This is reason why Mori said they didnt put it on Xbox360 beacause all the data wouldnt fit on the xbox dvd. All that dlc is on disk dlc you just downlaod the unlock codes. Im sure it wasnt worth the hastle with microsoft or the extra time and money to make a work around for an Xbox version.
NeoStrayCat Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Yeah, but for reference, the JP release, in digital is about 7.8-8GB, while the US release (with extra languages, I would assume digitally), would be 10.2-11GB, so yeah, I guess it woudn't fit, as an example. Not only that, but putting it on the Vita is a different story, with compression and all.
Owner Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Some people claimed that Mori is lying and the US version does fit on a 360 disc but consider this: Japanese "letters" or katakana/hiragana don't take up that much space as the western letters Because one japanese letter can include up to 3 western letters, for example: つ (Hiragana) means tsu So the storymode needed more space for the western release, making a 360 version not possible

Verimeloni Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I doubt Kokonoe dlc being on the disc in the October launch, it's more likely her data was in the first patch so even if you didn't get her you could fight her online. Terumi was on disc for sure 'cause you had to fight him in the story mode. Who gives a shit about 360 anymore anyway
