Kiyo Kuro Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 She isn't designed for rushdown. Oh I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
SoWL Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Honestly, CP added more than enough rushdown/snowball characters, so it makes sense for them to make their latest addition to the roster more about the setups and space control.
Agni Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 No, ASW cops would kill it on youtube. There is ALWAYS a way to download something from the web. ANYWAYS, Citronette helped me correct the graviton positions image for Kokonoe. http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/images/3/3e/BBCP_Kokonoe_5D.png Also Colors 23-24 for the entire cast: http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/8594/o8cj.png Very possible color 24 is a placeholder color and not meant to be released. 24 is..."no" but I like 23. I kinda wish that BB had these palettes that Arcana Heart had--they gave the characters dark/tan skin and black clothes with red highlights. I loved the hell out of those. The #23 colors are quite similar and nice though.
Volt Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 But Kokonoe can do something at close range right? Or her gameplay is basically keep everything out and fold like a paper when anything gets close?
Kiyo Kuro Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 But Kokonoe can do something at close range right? Or her gameplay is basically keep everything out and fold like a paper when anything gets close? Watching this video made me think she was a rushdown character of sorts, but I guess she is sort of a keep away character, until the time is right. She doesn't look like a full-on zoner, in the vein of Nu, to me, but apparently she's no Makoto either. I guess she's a decent hybrid, possibly.
Arc Raizen Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Which is perfect for me. I main Makoto, I sub Nu, plan on throwing Kokonoe into the mix. Everything comes out balanced.
Kiyo Kuro Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I was just using Nu and Makoto as examples of Zoning and Rushdown respectively. Not implying that Koko is a hybrid of the two characters, but rather, of the two characters playstyle, lol.

beanwich Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I have another question, I saw that there are many new system voices for BBCP, but I was wondering, how do I get them? Are they downloadable content on PSN? Or can they be bought/unlocked using the in-game currency or by completing a mode?

beanwich Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 They're DLC like the Extend ones. I see, thank you.
Volt Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKEA5WWt1hs That will be probably fixed with a patch coming along with Kokonoe's release.
beanwich Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I heard that Kokonoe and Yuuki Terumi are on-disk, that would mean that they are unlock-able and usable without needing to be downloaded first, right? If this is true, does anyone know how to get them? If it matters, I have 90% of the story completed, with the Sector 7, Six Heroes, and CHRONOPHANTASMA paths all finished, with I think just gag segments left.
Chaoschao222 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 On-disc means that the entirety of the character is on the disc. But it typically does not refer to things that are unlockable in-game. Essentially it's refers to the negative connotation that you have to pay additional money just to get something that's already in the game; buying an unlock code rather than buying content. Terumi and Kokonoe are like this. Entire characters within the disc that you must pay to obtain (other than the Terumi limited run until next week, of course). This is unlike the CS DLC characters, where only minuscule, unusable data for the characters were present.
sparkaura Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKEA5WWt1hs This happened to me a couple days ago. It was pretty funny.

Oh, I see, I was hoping it meant something else, but it sounds like a rip-off if you word it like that! Thanks for your help. I'm not bothering with stuff like that. Too much work for things I likely wouldn't use.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The weirdest fucking glitch....if you use Noel's astral on Kagura...she will literally run out of the stage in her win pose. It was the weirdest shit.
Diamond Dust Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 The weirdest fucking glitch....if you use Noel's astral on Kagura...she will literally run out of the stage in her win pose. It was the weirdest shit. I think that if Noel wins against Kagura, she will run regardless. I dont own the game so I am not sure. There was a video having Kagura and his special intros. Before battle It was him like saying if he wins, he takes Noel to dinner. So when Noel wins, she runs. The video was also in Englsih

Arc Raizen Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I just did Noel's Astral against Kagura and she ran off the stage, but the camera followed here as she infinitely ran off stage into nothingness.
Kibafool Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I just did Noel's Astral against Kagura and she ran off the stage, but the camera followed here as she infinitely ran off stage into nothingness. Ok, now that is defiantly a glitch.
Blackwolfos Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 I just did Noel's Astral against Kagura and she ran off the stage, but the camera followed here as she infinitely ran off stage into nothingness. Lol, I did this on the the Railway Station stage and it looks like shes running on air. Kinda cool on some stages, others its just weird. I wonder if it'll get patched?
beanwich Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 That's strange, usually ARC SYSTEM WORKS is so good about getting out all the bugs. I bet they'll fix it. I don't play Noel, so it doesn't make any difference to me, but that must be funny/disturbing.
