OmniSScythe Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I keep trying to fight him too. ...and Nemesis...and....Errol.....yeah I sign my own death warrant sometimes. You don't want to fight me, it'll ruin the appeal!
TD Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 interesting, the moves you mentioned are the ones lv 5 were using. especially that command grab. at first l was extra vigilant of it, but after getting hit twice and seeing that dmg l just stopped caring. better bc now l can try to reset the neutral, l did alot. dives especially, he loves it, and l thought something was up. he'd dp after one, so it must be unsafe as heck now. after the dd he'd just charge. i'd superjump and ib them. l mean besides last hits it doesn't seem effective on rachel or kokonoe. rachel can just summon a pumpkin. the real deal was the new d charging star, takes 2 charges? that shit i'm not playing with. it bulldozes everything in the way. thankfully the startup was punished. is it even + on block? l was able to escape further pressure completely.
abadlime Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 The command grab is just a fast way to catch you off guard whilst grabbing a few charges along the way. I prefer the 22D unblockable still, but the grab has its uses. For the shield charge, I was under the impression it was plus or at least even, but i'll wait for errol to confirm that just to be sure.
TD Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 l miss old 22d as well. now that, that was scary. ...well not really. but it was much better than this cg. 2 charges seems hardly worth not even 1000 damage. maybe it it did 1200 or 1500 dmg...? that's just basic. come on. can you guys at least rc it and if so is it a good starter? if not... how do people win with her lol. it's about time l pay kuresu a revisit. it's been awhile.
abadlime Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 You can RC but i don't think it's worth unless of course it can get a guaranteed kill.

abadlime Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 We're referring to the [4]6D >236D shield charge.
Tsubaki 5B Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 We're referring to the [4]6D >236D shield charge.oh my bad lol yea that one is plus on block and can beat out projectiles

But it does take I think more than 20 frames to become projectile invuln. Plus to do it you have to have been holding back. Still, it is good, and it means if you try to just ignore what she is doing and don't pay attention to her amount of charges you can get punished pretty well. lots of autopilot zoners get hit by this. Which is nice, but it's also easy to work around if you actually pay attention. you can potentially get good damage by RC'ing the command grab. it is good for that, but yeah, largely if you are going for the kill it is strong.

Errol Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 also it's pretty good against jump-ins too it's pretty good just generally up close too. the orb comes out really quick and has good priority (obviously).
Argent Zero Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 GGs to Ranger and everyone that I played tonight in Online Lobby. Still would like to get some more battles with everyone here if network connections are good.
Dark Ranger88 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 GGs to Argent, Goku is da bess, and Abnormal Sense. Izayoi vs Tager just seems so much more fun than Mak v Tager. I'm about to throw up in my mouth here, but I think I might...like...zoning...*shudders*.

I have absolutely no idea how Izayoi works so I'm guessing that's how she fights?
Dark Ranger88 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 The sonic saber and that up slash seemed very useful against me. I have absolutely no idea how Izayoi works so I'm guessing that's how she fights? Oh that's right...no one uses Izayoi. Yeah Argent: 5B/Sonic Sabre if you're on the ground, and 623B (Upward Slash) if you're in the air. 623B is better against Tager because he's really tall. It even hits him crouching sometimes... She can also teleport behind you for 2 stocks and has a reversal distortion that pushes you away and is comboable on counterhit. I hadn't used Izayoi in like 2 weeks Makoto was feeling sad and neglected, so I had to spend some quality time with my waifu I can't believe I wasn't complete garbage with her, even though I was a little squirrelly sometimes.
StarGazer Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Meanwhile, all who i play against is either an Izayoi or Terumi.
Kriegdrache Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I only really play against my friend Shruikon's Izayoi and all I can tell you is that Azrael's taunt hitbox can beat out her teleports. It was the greatest thing I've ever seen.
Henjin Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Ggs to all the jp players i faught today. Wasnt as bad as i thought it would be with the connection. Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk
toanenadiz Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 GGs Guardian. They were fun, despite all the blue beats and accidental resets.
Inferno Divisor Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 GGs to Streetwalking and MrGreen_Al. Man, first time fighting a Terumi that knew what he was doing. I should have punished/5D'd against 2D a lot more.
Dreize Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Soon. Though, there are other players who specialize (better too) in the characters i play… but they're probably not masochists. To heck with that. I prefer you (no homo). I'm not nervous at all when I play you so I can just do whatever and experiment. Great for training purposes.

Dreize Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 What. Are you telling me that after playing very long sets with people you don't become more comfortable with playing against them? We don't really need to try-hard 100% of the time because we already know what the other is capable of. Makes things much more lax and allows for more experimentation in my opinion.
