GGs Surefeit88 and onecrazymofo (probably got your name wrong).

Surefeit you've got a really good Kagura. I hope I never face a Kagura offline. Is is possible to just flash kick whenever you see an overhead? If so, anyone with good defense would be ridiculous with him offline.

if you can see it, and you've been holding down, yeah. frame 1 invuln and the input is just as simple as moving to stand block.

if he tries to dp somewhere that there isn't a gap, then he loses his charge, and you'll see him stand up.. slow overheads are quite a hassle to use on him. throws can be good though.

ggs. i just started playing him really. 250+ matches and Im still not really sure how I should be playing him. I've been thinking of treating him like he's a second Tager. Need to clean up my play because it was pretty sloppy sometimes. That feel when you think you have a charge and then try to do the special only for him to just stand there.

I started to act the hell up near the end because I got tired of getting hit by 6B. Don't even think I blocked it on reaction even once. Shit is so frustrating

So I'm re-adapting to DS3, probably be up for some games later. Had a question though about pads, was gonna order that Hori fighting commander pro 3, but bein that itz $30 off amazon, I was wonderin if there's any cheaper pads that have A) non-disjointed pad and B) non blocky hard to pusb pad. Madcatz was the one I was using, but its been 2 months and it lost it.

madcatz what? the fightpad thing? when I thought about it I wondered why exboxers didn't use that when they complained about the DS3.

cronus device with 360 controller.

As long as you don't mind buying a new controller every now and then, its the greatest choice.

*Misses my pad*

I have a stick. I'm using it to play currently.

And I can't do shit on it. 214 and 236 inputs are beyond me. Don't even get me started on TK214/236s and half circles.

or you know, i can just go to any tourney that isn't a big e one :v

I do what i want. Thats been my philosophy in gaming forever (and what lets me create stupid combos that shouldn't work in BB)

GG's to everyone I played today. Btw, if I seem to be playing dirty/abusing netplay tactics... that's just how I play offline.

I'm pretty nutty.

What grip do you use?

Keep at it.

Well i got a qanba and have't bothered changing anything in it. Default everything. I got a circle restricter but it couldn't give me diagonals so im back to square.

I've heard good things about Qanbas, was actually seriously considering picking one up myself. Square gate is the standard.

But that's not what I meant when I asked you about what grip you use.

you play remotely with your vita right?

I got my stick, a BB tournament edition mad catz, around when CS came out. Didn't play much around then, but I got it. I got it for like $100 at the time but it has been great. A couple months back when some buttons started sticking I looked around to see about maybe replacing the whole thing. At which time I figured out that they seem to cost like 170-180 at least now.. so I actually just popped it up and learned how to replace and clean the buttons.. It works well, but not sure exactly how much difference can be expected from different sticks if they all use the same main parts (sanwa stick, buttons). A matter of preference on the form factor maybe. I like the colossal stick, and its big flat surface personally.

I'd say like 2 or 3. It really depends on the situation. If they want a rematch for the sake of redeeming themselves I say give them as much as you can stand. But you're right in that people shouldn't just play 20+ matches against the same person in a row. It's aggravating when I walk up to some guy with 8wins, beat him, and he leaves the cab to play so many with another random. Or he beats me and refuses to fight me for whatever reason not related to lag.

I can give you some az matches but I'm ass.

oh thought you meant like balltop or some odd custom thing to hold, not how i hold it.

I actually keep my hand floating slightly above the stick. For QCF and QCB inputs i tap it down and try to slide it in a circle.

That way of holding it actually makes me almost never drop airdashes and 22 inputs so thats a plus.
