Lunar_Divider Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 GG's Nem. If you can even call what we just played games. Haven't played that bad since early CS.
744Dante Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 GGs to the people I played against in the arcade lobbies. I played so awful and sloppy today hopefully I'll do better the next time I play
Ventus Tatshima Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 GGs Nemesis. sorry for being so free in out set. lol
Nemesis Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 GG's Nem. If you can even call what we just played games. Haven't played that bad since early CS. No worries we all have those kinds of days and they certainly happen to me more often than I'd like to admit GGs Nemesis. sorry for being so free in our set. lol If you dont mind the criticism : It has alot to do with your tactics of lay down "traps" and then down back waiting for me to run up to you -- as Mu I really have no reason to ever rush you down w/o a screen full of support if anything work on your variance - by which I mean create alternative measures to approach ppl - stop doing the same few things over and over manage that and youll start seeing improvement in your matches (and yes I know its hard - Im way to lazy atm to learn some legit tech that I really REALLY need to learn)
someonewhodied Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) ugh. I just can't do anything on stick. How the fuck do you people do it. I thought i got better but its worse now. I can't even get IADs Alright TD I'm done for now, unless you don't mind playing me during these 2 hours when everyone here is taking up bandwidth. Sorry for boring you with my extreeeeeemely bad stick playing skills (seriously should I buy a new pad or stick to playing stick and just sorta push through with it) Edited January 29, 2014 by someonewhodied
toanenadiz Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Mu is the best. Why did I wait so long before using her? ugh. I just can't do anything on stick. How the fuck do you people do it. I thought i got better but its worse now. I can't even get IADs It's not that hard with a lot of practice.
someonewhodied Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Mu is the best. Why did I wait so long before using her? It's not that hard with a lot of practice. Its been almost a month. I still have troubles with airdashes and QCF/QCB inputs. And we should play. I can still get some of my inputs despite being on stick.
Nemesis Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Mu is the best. Why did I wait so long before using her? Misguided loyalties? I'd welcome you to the club but your basically a ghost
BloodWolF Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 It took me over a month to get it SWD. I still drop IAds sometimes too. It's disheartening, but you should definitely stick with it. The truth is that I bought a TE, used it for a week and went back to pad. It wasn't until I ended up overseas and in the arcades with no stick experience that I decided that I was going to drop pad completely and go stick. I can honestly say now that it was a great decision and I am glad I did so. I think you'll feel the same after you get used to it, but it may be a rough road.
crimsonstardust Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Its been almost a month. I still have troubles with airdashes and QCF/QCB inputs. Well let me ask this, what kind of grip are you using? That can change quite a bit also, I know some people have a tendency to grasp it from the top which is harder to do precise motions with. This link has some info on adjusting and such. http://www.eventhubs.com/guides/2009/jul/08/tips-switching-pad-joystick/ And GGs to anyone I played in the East coast arcade room, no one is ever in the west coast ones.
Dreize Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Well let me ask this, what kind of grip are you using? ________________________ I actually keep my hand floating slightly above the stick. For QCF and QCB inputs i tap it down and try to slide it in a circle. That way of holding it actually makes me almost never drop airdashes and 22 inputs so thats a plus.
Stellarcircle5 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) Ggs to Someonewhobodied. That connection was solid enough that I could actually get my corner carry and vortex going. Good to finally be able to play you at a competent level! I now know which of your subs I stand a chance against XD Litchi still 2 stronk. Edited January 29, 2014 by Stellarcircle5
Ventus Tatshima Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 GGs SWD. I shouldn't have kept playing Extend i think i might've picked bad habits & i'm trying to get out of this Auto-pilot state... ugh i'm so ass right now. lol
someonewhodied Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Ggs both of you. I keep fishing for 3C counter, SoD Fatal, or tachi counter as mu. My mind is stuck on one specific combo i just made up recently
Ctrlaltwtf Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) Netplay is hella scared tonight. Haven't gotten two consecutive wins yet cuz no one has the guts to go for round 2. Admittedly I don't blame you I'd be mad if I let myself lose to these gimmicks too. Finally a real challenger. Shoutouts to LostSoul526 Edited January 29, 2014 by Ctrlaltwtf
Ctrlaltwtf Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) ggs brkrdave. Vastly prefer Rachel though, obviously. Edited January 29, 2014 by Ctrlaltwtf

BoltofShadow Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) stop dodging me whenever i see you in arcade lobby :v I'm not trying to, honestly I wanna fight you :v EDIT: GGs Darksonic's lobby. Edited January 29, 2014 by BoltofShadow
Argent Zero Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) ggs to everyone I fought so far. My controller keeps disconnecting/dropping inputs and I'm pretty sure it's the adapter at fault here. I think I might just be better off getting a controller that doesn't require an adapter Can anyone offer an alternative? Don't really care for the price. currently using this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042SB2I0 Edited January 29, 2014 by Argent Zero
