Rhiya Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Anyone willing to play learning matches against my Rachel again? My Rachel's got like two days of real exp, so it's pretty bad. I just want to get more comfortable with the character so I can figure out if I want to switch off of Litchi in favor of Rachel in BBCP. Rachel is more like the characters I usually play (VAki, Millia, etc.), and I like how she feels, but I need to make sure I'm not crazy or making shit up before I put in tons of time on her. I also like Rachel way better as a character, but I kind of consider that a luxury as compared to gameplay.
toanenadiz Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I'll play you but you are gonna hate playing against Nu.
susano Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 every time someone switches charas after they win, my salt goes through the roof I'm breaking in my new controller. Sorry... GGS though. I think you definitely can learn Litchi but that's just me. GGS to gamesofrobo Shoutouts to the JERK who one and done me even though I'm breaking in a new controller. Guess I shouldn't complain. Got a taste of my own medicine. I see how people feel when I do that. I won't do it aanymore.
Rhiya Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I'm breaking in my new controller. Sorry... Don't worry about it Also, it's not that I can't learn Litchi, but rather that the major thing that made me play Litchi (strength of setplay) got nerfed, since there aren't really strong metered okizeme options for Litchi anymore (kokushi is only really good to end rounds) -- and her meterless setplay isn't half as good as the metered was, and is also extremely finicky in some cases. Basically, the reason I played Litchi, okizeme, seems stronger in Rachel atm, and Rachel has a couple of other things I value (like high mobility and basically unreactable mixup) on top of that.

Zeron_X25 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 every time someone switches charas after they win, my salt goes through the roof Personally, I got bored of if I didn't change my character after every match. Now in CP, everyone's changed so I can't use the characters I knew. ;-; JERK who one and done me even though I'm breaking in a new controller. What does one and done mean? I'm curious.

Surf Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 What does one and done mean? I'm curious. What scrubs do Usually when someone wins or loses one match and leaves abruptly. Either they got bodied, or they scrubbed out a win and they run with the points. A lot of the "strong" players do it when they get whooped.
Dawn of Musou Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 GGs Toan. I wanted to keep going especially since I finally got a win on your Nu for the first time ever but the family was urging me to make dinner and it was getting kinda annoying lol. Those Ragna vs Tager matches were hilarious though. All the random moments and whiffs were beautiful.
toanenadiz Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Is that an issue? How many matches are you expected to play with someone before you are allowed to fight someone else? Not everyone is looking to have a long set. Some people just want to fight as many playstyles in a short period of time. And GGs Dawn.
Zeron_X25 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Ah ok. Some people do it to me sometimes. I usually only do this when the other person lags a lot.

Koopa_Klawz Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 ggs to some players. bgs to everyone else. Fuck stream rooms.
toanenadiz Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I'm willing to play for over four hours. It's not a matter of how long I am willing to play for. But I feel one my greatest weaknesses is how long it takes me to get used to fighting someone new. I figured the best way to fix that was to fight as many new people as I can in a short time period. I agree. Although that's what I use ranked for. I forgot ranked existed.
Dawn of Musou Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Alright done with dinner, getting back online if anyone wants games.
XVII Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Alright done with dinner, getting back online if anyone wants games. Where are youse so I can play youse?
Dawn of Musou Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Where are youse so I can play youse? Oh sorry I was battling some random Tsubaki. Want me to send an invite?
Myoro Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Sometimes I have to one and done because I randomly get called away. Some times it's something legit that brought them away, like a friend finally getting on and sending an invite, or a person you really wanted to fight got done with their own match in the lobby, or your boss calling you to ask a favor, or an emergency, or they don't know you think it's a bad thing to one and done, or any billion possible things really. As such I tend to afford benefit of the doubt to others. Assuming everyone is a who quits after loss is a coward, or the ones that win and leave are pompous to conceited levels, doesn't make me any happier anyway. Kinda just makes the situation suck more, don't it? Not only are you unsatisfied now, but you live in a world of cowards and stuck up people. Of course if someone wins once leaves and messages me "Suk eet u flithy causal", or loses, messages "Ur a chetter. go die." then leaves, all bets are off.
Dawn of Musou Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 We started at around 9:55. Let's see how far we can go now.
Daimao Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I've gotten grabbed and Agito'd out of my Black Hawk Stinger. So frustrating <_< BHS is not fully invincible. It will trade with or lose to anything past the initial startup iframes. Not even the startup is fully invincible.
